April 15Apr 15 Before Maresca talked to the media after Ipswich the owners were in the dressing room. Coincidence he targets the fan base after that?

They haven't even tried to understand the situation we are concerned about.I like Simon Jordan but he is so pro boehly it's ridiculous, and he was a prick to my mate stevie who phoned in.If we end up 7th this season, maybe the media will turn, but honestly they mostly are just enjoying our downfall, they aren't objective, they want us to fail. It's actually primed for a manager to come in and use Jose's us against the world tactic, to harmonize the dressing room, but we won't employ anyone remotely capable of that sort of leadership.

I personally don't want him back.Relegated clubs are always favoured to get promoted but there is a lot of talk that the EFL is waiting for Leicester to get relegated so they can charge them for FFP infractions from last time.

That has dropped to 1.6 from the last 16 games. But hey our possession average is up from 56.5% to 60.3% so it's all good LOLData from FBREF (Opta) :
April 16Apr 16 Interestingly our xG when Jackson was injured in those last 16 games was down to 1.46 vs 1.72 when he was playing. All a bit moot when it doesn't actually result in any goals though LOL
April 16Apr 16 It looks like Delap is MU or Chelsea. Maybe we need to look at other strikers as well. Not 100% sure what Gyokeres' strengths are or would he fit the bill. He is already 26 so maybe Sesko..not sure. Sesko and Delap are linked to us. We also need another winger especially if Murdyk is up for a big ban. Not sure if Estevao is ready for that role yet. Otherwise Neto, Madueke and Sancho to me suffice. I would also consider giving Felix the backup role of 10 if and when Nkunku is sold. Felix is okay to cover. He needs more minutes. That is if he wants to stay. Goalie situation should be clear. Just bring back Djordje. I think we can sell Sanchez on. His numbers look okay at least. Jorgensen so far is untested for a run of games. I think otherwise we are okay for next season. Maybe a cover for Cucu and James. Acheampong should be able to cover for some games, maybe. If we manage to get CL which is not likely we probably need to look to strengthen more. However it remains to be seen if the club holds on to the plan to keep the age profile down. If so I don't see guys like Osimhen coming in. And also if we land badly this season Enzo's position is probably under scrutiny as well.Fofana's situation also raises questions. Not sure if he can even play 50% of the games.
April 16Apr 16 We should probably go for Sesko if we can’t land Delap. Surely Sesko’s value have plummeted recently so we might be able to get him for a similar price?Gyokeres would be nice but why would he join us over any team above us?

We won't get Osimhen, Gyokeres, Sesko, Boniface, Guirassy, Kolo Muani. They would all command higher salaries than we are paying. We will start getting briefings on how unknown 19 - 20 yo strikers have the greatest ceiling around. This could be a prime example. All rubbish of coursehttps://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/conrad-harder/profil/spieler/807386

April 16Apr 16 Richard Keys calls out Enzo MarescaKeys believes that Maresca is prioritising the European competition at this stage of the season, with it looking better for potential future employers than the fight for the Champions League places. He said: “Madness. Absolute madness. If he doesn’t want out he’s got some making up to do now. Winning the Conference League might not be enough to get Chelsea fans back onside, although adding a success like that to his cv would suit him.“I’ve got mates who are Chelsea fans and they’re convinced Maresca wants that more than a top 5 finish – because he won’t be around next season.”
April 16Apr 16 This bloke is deluded, its not on him it’s because the opposition were not very goodAsked, however, whether supporters could expect to enjoy his team’s style between now and the end of the season, Maresca said: “100 per cent”, suggesting the approach of recent opponents - rather than his philosophy - has made for tedious matches. The last six games at home, we faced Southampton, Leicester, Wolves, West Ham, Spurs and Ipswich,” he added. “We have won five [out of] six. The one people enjoyed the most was the Spurs one and that was the one where they tried to press higher and we could attack more quick.“Against the rest, it has been a different game. We need to learn how to play different type of games.”
