I was starting to wonder if I made The right call not renewing fubo TV. Their coverage is poor and often misses the end of games but we started to play some decent stuff.

Thanks to the ownership for solidifying my choice. No doubts anymore.

Poor bloke's got no chance with the fans if our sample on here is representative.

At least Pochettino started with a little bit of good will !

Lol no he didn't. Poch is Spurs. He tried to talk up our club and the need to win but soon changed his tune to trust the process and most of us wanted him gone within a few months.

Maresca, and RDZ to be fair, would get the same two months grace, and then when our football is boring and we are bottom half of the table most of the fans will forget the idiots who hired him and go after the manager again.

I’m not over the moon with the idea of this signing but some of the reaction on here is ridiculous.

Just goes to show how spoilt we’ve become as a fan base. You’d think the past couple of season might have humbled us.

If Maresca was the best we could get it'd be a different story, I'm sure the reaction would be a lot more 'humble'

But when we're actively rejecting more proven managers for this guy it's just ridiculous

He will be out by March when we are 10 to 12th and can’t score get and win and play boring ass football

I don't think my mental state could recover from another season like that.

Get ready because based on what I am reading about him it’s all boring possession football.

I actually started to enjoy our matches again with Poch as we were conceding but playing exciting attacking football.

I expect Potter 2.0 just with an Italian accent

“Tye boys gave everything” 😭😭

Need to be shipping Mudryk and Madueke out ASAP. Neither will suit a keep ball team, especially Mudryk.

Madueke will be fine. He likes 1 vs 1 wingers.

Mudryk is a lost cause.

He will have Olise for that apparently.

How does this have anything to do with being spoilt? We have watched these owners bumble their way from one mistake the next since they arrived, you can't blame fans for reacting the way they do.

I have been sick of the state of our football since Sarri was appointed and instead of moving away from it, we continue to double down on it. I would rather lose playing exciting football than boring tiki taka sh*te that has us playing back to the keeper multiple times per attack. It's all so robotic, with every player playing exactly the same way and little room for individuals to show their talent. Football is supposed to be exciting, but I see nothing exciting about this brand of football.

No one should be lowering their expectations next season. Ownership/the Directors need to be held accountable.

My expectations have never been lower for a new season than they are right now. Just maybe he'll surprise us - but I won't hold my breath.

This is comical. The owners and directors are an absolute joke. We've gone from a club that attracted Ancelotti, Hiddink, Mourinho and Tuchel to scraping around in the bargain basement of possible managers. Even West Ham have done better.

Genuine question though to the people who are fuming about this appointment, who would would you have appointed? Because it seems like every name that was mentioned in this process has been a no, but unless we re-appoint a manager we've already had before the options are very slim.

At this point, anybody that would move us away from this brand of football and had more experience than coaching at Championship level.

McKenna finished 1 point behind Leicester on less than 20% of the wage bill (£11m vs £60m). I wasn't a huge fan of him but it would've been a significantly better appointment

De Zerbi's at least proven his football can work in the premier league, finishing 6th with 4-5 decent players in the team.

I don't understand what Maresca's done that could be considered impressive.

2 plus 1 is the same Poch got. Media said new manager gets longer deal than Poch, media said RDZ agreed a 3 plus 1 deal yesterday and McKenna was favorite a few days ago.

Media reports what the club tells them to report.

Well that makes sense.

It's our own club that are lying to the media and consequently to  Chelsea fans.

But I reckon it's just the media making stuff up, .....as usual

Keep Poch settle things down for a few seasons and let him go after the third season. We would have a few years of stability and can look for a winning manager.
