Don't put him in the senior team then if he isn't up to it yet?

Done more than fully developed Sancho btw, perhaps aim your discontent where it is warranted.

Sancho very quiet, has barely touched the ball.

And when he has all he has done is passed it backwards...seems he has no confidence to take anyone on...just as well hoof him at HT if this is all he's got.

Feels like we should be 2 or 3 up but lacking a bit of sharpness in the front three.

Nkunku has looked class. KDH some nice moments, and Guiu made an energetic start. Other than that Jorgensen has been our best player, which isn't much of a compliment on the rest ! Mudryk and Sancho need to step up. Neither putting any pressure on Noni/Neto/Felix for a more prominent role in the A-Team..

Wasn't a shot, it was a lofted chip. And Jackson has missed plenty easier than that.

You do realised a lofted chip is just a type of shot? Or do you think he was trying to find a runner at the back stick?

Why not do both? Sancho has offered nothing and our striker can't kick a ball

Mr.Felix has to come on and help orchestrate our attack. We need to apply more controlled and constant pressure and force them to make mistakes. Heidenheim Ho-De-Ho are there to be beaten.

I'm not impressed by Sancho. He's a very predictable winger. He doesn't ever take on his man, he just does all of these fancy touches that go nowhere. A bit of a showoff without any impact. Not sure I would like us to make this deal permanent.

It's a real shame. I think in the first few matches he was brilliant, very direct and involved. All of that has fizzled out, I hope he manages to bring his flair back.

I like him very much as a player, but his recent form is definitely not it.

Am guessing Maresca subs Guiu at half time, like the last match, puts Nkunku up top and brings on either Felix or Madueke.

Perhaps both, with Sancho subbed.

If Noni comes on for a decent stretch he scores today imo.

it’s just above freezing at the ground, Heidi His cup final, mostly b team starters, going to be another hard 45 mins. I’d bring on Maudeki & Felix sooner than later.

I hope he doesn't. Leave Guiu on and Nkunku where he is. I would rather Madueke and Chukwuemeka came on for Sancho and Dewsbury-Hall.

As would I.

A bit early to write him off. He hasn't played much of late. He needs passes to bring him into the game and that is a lot easier when Cole Palmer is playing alongside you and you have quality full backs assisting you.

You get the point. I'm not on at Jackson here UB, though I do think N'kunku is the vastly superior footballer. Personally I think we should have a manager that is inventive enough, brave enough (and flexible enough), to find a formation that is able to accommodate Palmer, N'kunku and Jackson together at times. And is also smart enough to not completely ignore one of the brightest young talents we have had in years, in Carney. Personally, I think Maresca has more attacking talent at his disposal than any other manager in the EPL. And for the first time 3 years, we don't have a catastrophic injury list to contend with. He is a lucky man.

Maresca letting the front 4 have another chance.

Really need to step it up, especially Nkunku. This type of opponent should be easy pray for him, and we need to see more like that! Make a statement Cristo!
