May 4May 4 Author A great win today has given us a small chance again of making the CL spots. For us to get there though I do truly believe we must win this game. Easier said than done but I think we have to or we likely miss out.
May 4May 4 A draw here might not be too shabby. With said draw, we can secure top 5 by winning our last 2 games.
May 4May 4 No one is going to help us other than ourselves, a point would be a decent result but we must be Utd...everyone else is...certainly can't drop 3 points here that's for sure..

Two wins that include 3 points against Utd doesn’t guarantee top 5 and would require us to get 7 points from our final 3 games to guarantee top 5 as it stands. Edited May 7May 7 by 19seventyone
May 8May 8 This is the biggest game of the season for me. So much riding on it and a lot of permutations. As Villa and Brighton proved, Newcastle are beatable. However if they get two wins, they are guaranteed CL so they will be looking to beat us and their game vs Everton. We’re going to need to fight them as they are gritty and nasty. Does our squad have it in them to fight and be nasty?
May 8May 8 4 points from these next 2 games essentially means we just need a draw against Forest on the final day.

Huge game. Win and I think we get cL. Draw and is difficult. Lose and I think we have blown it.1 hour ago, mojo said:.I really hope we can have a rare treat of enjoying your gifs from St.james Park...

May 9May 9 I really hope the players and manager see this game as a must win, rather than must not lose.We win, that leaves us in a really good position with Newcastle playing Arsenal next.A draw would be meh, an opportunity missed.

Though will see what impact them having a lethal striker, and us having Nico, will have.

Must win this match.

May 10May 10 This weekend will decide a lot who’s in the driving seat for CL. Bournemouth v Villa (tricky game for them)Forest v Leicester (surely a win for Forest)If we lose, we hand the advantage to Forest who have West Ham and us to play.
May 10May 10 Everything about that game tells me we're going to lose. This Chelsea team has neither mental strength nor experience to stand up to an in form Newcastle team at their ground where we regularly struggled even when we had better players/manager and plenty of experience and winning mentality. If Maresca and Co can pull off a surprise and get a win, I may start to change my mind about the man and his managing ability.
