bjd Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I wasnt at the beamback either.. I wasnt at the Shed Bar. I wasnt even in London. f**k me i wasnt even in England. Due to a devastating lack of foresight back in October i found myself on the Maltese Island of Gozo. In the main bar of the main town unsurprisinly it seemed i was surrouned by the Maltese Branch of the Red Fan Club. It was sickening and i had to leave before i punched someone. It wasnt the locals who were worst i might add. Anyway i found a bar not far down the main drag (was with my mate and our birds) and there was a handful of supporters there but all going for the blues. Within seconds of me entering it was obvious who i was going for. Pissed as Charlie Sheen at a Hard Rock Cafe free bar i spent the next 2 and half hours in great company (AC Milan fans mostly who kept asking about Shev incedentally) and when Drogs scored i jumped up then slipped and twisted my ankle. Upon the final whistle were fantastically handed shot after shot of free Goldschlager before it was time to go. In the top ten most wonderful experiences of my life on the way out my mates bird mooned the bar full of Man Utd fans! Im not joking! Back at the villa my drinking went on to the early hours and in that time me and my mate both fell in the pool and i also sverely burnt my hand on the barbeque. Ok, i wasnt a Wembley but it was still a great day and i will never forget it. I love Chelsea i really do. So thats the end of another season, another memorable season. Roll on Glasgow 28th July.
glory55 Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Sounds good mate!! I think I might have to join you boys in Glasgow.
Lofty Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 No I wasn't at Wembley either. So I ordered the programme from a link on the FA web site, and it arrived this morning. I's been looking through the Chelsea section, skipped over the Mancs section ... and then I came to page 95: 1994 Remembered. This includes quotes from the players, such as Gavin Peacock saying that John Spencer was so upset he threw away his losers medal. Not our Gavin though. He feels proud of having played in an FA Cup final. All good stuff. And then ... I knew I had made a big mistake that could never be corrected (for the second penalty). I sat in the dressing room (afterwards) feeling as if my world had fallen apart. Of course, everyone was very kind and said I had had a wonderful match and been correct with both penalties. I kept up the pretence that I also thought I was right, but in my heart of hearts I knew I had been wrong. KEPT UP THE PRETENCE? YOU SHOULD HAVE SHOT YOURSELF YOU HALFWITTED POXY BLOODY HISTORY TEACHER OR WHATEVER THE HELL IT IS YOU TAUGHT YOU DOZY BOLLOX BALDY BENT GIT.

I kept up the pretence that I also thought I was right, but in my heart of hearts I knew I had been wrong. Everyone? That just proves that David Elleray keeps company solely with blind sycophants. How could any sane person with eyes claim he was correct with the second penalty
