Elliott Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 God, you really can tell that it's close of season can't you? I watched 90's film 'Sleepers' for the first time the other day. I had only managed to see the beginning previously, so took the opportunity to watch it the whole way through. I was quietly impressed overall. Kevin Bacon & his buddies are nasty peice's of work, and the most powerful bits in the film are based in and around the childrens detention centre, however for all the build up to the court case, I expected a slightly more climactic ending? Based on a supposedly true story, that no-one can find any evidence for? Never-the-less; definately worth a watch. I have also read some reviews on 'Mulholland Dr.', of which I know a few people that visit here are fans of. What is anyone elses take on this? Are the first three quarters of it really a dream? Is it worth my time, or would I be desperate to sue David Lynch for never being able to get that part of my life back? (Please bare in mind, that I managed to just get my head around 'Donnie Darko', but REFUSE point blank to attempt 'Revolver'. Any other recommendations ?
