Lofty Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 From BBC Sport: [web]http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/6232932.stm[/web] Coming from not so super Mac, I'm not sure whether this will do more harm than good.
The Moos Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 It's the wrong time to do it in my oppinion. It's been quite awhile since England last played and it will be a long time before they play again (unless I'm mistaking). So saying this now won't have any effect. Many have probably already forgotten about the booing of Lampard in the last game and by the time England play again people will have forgotten about this article and about McClarens plea. He should try and create a good atmosfear (is it spelled like that?) just before Englands next game to really make the fans work well with the players (even those who might not perform well).
Scott Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Now that McClaren is behind Lamps, look for "fans" to take out their displeasure with Mac on our poor Frankie. This will backfire.
ethicalstrategy Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 atmosfear (is it spelled like that?) In the spirit of fostering anglo-otherplace relations it is spelt atmosphere (? Russ Abbott) (I'm guessing that the "sphere" part refers to the shape of the planet)
Lofty Posted June 26, 2007 Author Posted June 26, 2007 Atmosfear: fear of Atmos. And this: [web]http://www.seriouswheels.com/1950-1959/1954-Ford-Atmos.htm[/web] is a 1954 Ford Atmos. Pretty scary, huh Moos?
