The Brit
to be fair to didier, we all remember he wasn't happy about being sold cos he was happy at marseille so I take this latest outburst with a pinch of salt...to be fair, it was not like he had much choice as marseille wanted to sell him and no other club was going to compete with our bid...still, I hope didier realises that we have been as good for his career as he has been for us
The Moos
It seems as if the media is really out to throw dirt on Drogba now. How many "sensational news" has it been now? And how many has been true or of any interest? Drogba didn't want to leave Marseille. But reading the story it's like if Drogba didn't want to join Chelsea (like he wanted to go but really didn't want to join "those nasty blues"). Anyway, that was, what, 3-4 years ago? Things have changed. Drogba has been happy here (appart from the first season perhaps) and he's certainly not "disgusted" by playing for us. Let the old news be and print some up to date stuff instead. What's next "Exclusive news! Poland attacked by Hitlers Germany!"
valim
no problem i love drogba very much but if he want to leave let him to leave we don't need to keep him with no drogba desire but i hope only spek....... this from news
JT26CFC
what i don't understand is if he signed for the club, then why would he go out last season and be regarded as one of the best players in the world? It's like buying a pepperoni pizza, you spend money for it to eat it, but it's not ur favorite slice, but you eat it all the time. idk if that made sense, i'm mad tired right now

bjd
ive seen these comments before , they are very old. no surprise they have been pulled up again havent read what was actually printed in the sun or that bbc link but if they actually published what he said in its entirety, then you'd realise that his 'disgust' was at being forced out of Marseille by their president who wanted the cash. though i doubt they did

loz
Pineapple on Pizza is wrong, wrong I tells ya!! I shall be cross referencing the list of 'pineapple on pizza' people to the 'no marmite' people to the young offenders list - a pattern will emerge! Valerie
Agreed. Pineapple has no business on a pizza. The things people do to an innocent pizza, it's a crying shame. BTW, I'm in the no-marmite corner, but then again I wasn't raised on the stuff. Give me peanut butter anytime.

Sofa Manager
I'm afraid I'm with loz on this one. Fruits and pizza don't mix. But then again I have this same argument with the wife and we end up ordering a 50/50 pizza, so all in all, eat your pinneaple/mango/whatever, and I'll have my manly pepperoni, chouri?o in my beatifull colestherol friendly pizza. Elliott
I see not a lot wrong with his comments if i'm honest. He's just showing that he's a loyal guy to Marseille. I think the word 'disgusted' is a bit strong, however, this is a translation so?... My general gripe with these comments, are that he make's it sound like he's a slave. Like he has'nt liked it since day one? Getting paid vast sum's of money, whilst winning medals? Must be terrible.....

See I'm torn now. On the one hand, I am fully behind Loz - pineapple on pizza is a crime against humanity, but then I'm also right behind Val in the no-marmite camp - I expressed my views on marmite in the very entertaining thread dedicated to that black sperm of beelzebub. And, I think you will find that the sex-offenders register is 100% made up of people who champion the cause of fruit-based pizza pie AND the dire waste products of the brewing industry being spread on anything and then eaten. kev

The Moos
What exactly is Marmite? Doesn't sound tasty at all. And "pork and apple sauce"? That's a crime against humanity. Probably very common in Merseyside
