The Brit Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 anyone see his attempt at trying to end another professional's career today? the ball was on the grass, yet his foot made contact with Gelson Fernandes's knee...of course I'm sure he didn't mean it...he's such a lovely bloke
loz Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 It was a shocker, there is no way in hell he can have any claim to be going for the ball - I thought he made contact even higher than the knee but either way it was a blatantly deliberate attempt to do some serious damage (again). However these stupid bloody rules mean he will get away with it because the ref saw it and dealt with it at the time.
jack h Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I saw it and was thinking about posting something similair. He is one player who deserves a serious injury, there was no excuse for him going in tht high and people call Essien a dirty player . p.s Loz if i remember rightly it was higher than the knee
Mod Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I saw it too, even more proof the man is a *G4 say it for me*
The Brit Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 if anyone finds a picture of the challenge then post it so we can all see how bad it was...just an aside on mod's avatar...do you think jose is holding up how many millions the fa will have to pay him to coach england?
g3.7 Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I saw it too, even more proof the man is a *G4 say it for me*
The Moos Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I missed it. Anyone got a vid of it? P.S. That b*stard doesn't really deserve a topic of his own on this board. C-Hunt
Gem Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Just seen it on Goals On Sunday, what an absolute total prick. World class tosser, can't think of a bigger c**t in football, and thats including Tubby, Carjacker and St. Stevens!! Well no okay, maybe not Stevens. But its close......
Backbiter Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Time to dig out a few quotes from all his defenders after the Cech incident.....
Backbiter Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Coppell added today: "We support Stephen 100%. He is a fair and honest player, and anybody who knows him would agree that he is not the kind of person to hurt Petr Cech on purpose. You know him best Steve...
Backbiter Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Hunt said: "I can guarantee that I did not attempt to injure Petr, and I am very upset that the collision has resulted in such a bad injury. It was very early on in the game. I just thought I could win the ball and went in for it and our momentum took us into each other. I'm an honest player and give 100 per cent. All my team-mates and ex-managers say 'the boy works hard and he's honest and gives everything he's got'. When Petr slid in to collect the ball, our momentum meant a collision was unavoidable. The pictures show the collision was [an] accident. I'm not the kind of person to deliberately hurt an opponent. Well, at least we all know you're a liar now. As well as a dirty b@st@rd.
JT26CFC Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 i hate this guy more than anything else in the world. I still blame him for us missing out on the premiership trophy last season. He and Barton are just oxygen stealing b*stards!
geezer Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 This tacle was as bad as the one by the Benfica player who ended up getting banned for six matches. Come on then FA, if UEFA have the power then surely you do too. The guy deliberately set out to injure someone which gives you grounds to take further action.
Lofty Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I notice Ray Houghton is still sticking up for the prick. All pikeys together.
Liam Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I notice Ray Houghton is still sticking up for the prick. All pikeys together. I missed that Lofty. What did he say? How could he possible defend that?
Lofty Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 This was on TalkSport (where else?) last night. When asked, Houghton replied "I've known him for years. He's a nice lad and I stick by him". It says a lot that even Liverp**l fans are calling H*nt a pikey.
