If thats the same Stevens article I read on Redcafe (about the double being back on etc..) then its a wind up, someone made it up and it's been doing the rounds. Thing is, because of the tripe he has come out with before - people believe it!

Is it too much to hope that he is implicated in a pedo sex-ring scandal?

God I hate his pained peanut faced whitterings, and the city of thieves he comes from! PDT_nunu.gif

looks like its been removed. anyone tell me the gist of it?

Not sure if this is what you were talking about, but here's whats posted on RedCafe:

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has put Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea on notice, warning them “Slip up and we’ll be there.”

The merseyside team easily accounted for West Ham last night with an empathetic victory, leaving Gerrard with little doubts about his side’s ability to mount a late charge for the premiership.

“We’ve been saying all along that if we win our game-in-hand we’ll have a chance”

“We feel we’ve turned the corner now and can pick up maximum points from here on”.

“We still have to go to Man United and Arsenal meaning if those teams slip up once or twice before the end of the season we’ll be there”

Gerrard also talked up his teams champions league credential after Arsenal knocked out holders AC Milan.

“It puts more pressure on us as we are now effectively the defending champions.”

One of the funniest things I've read, mainly because its so bloody believable.

I know we'll have two games in hand, but am I right in thinking Liverpool could be just one point behind us tomorrow?

Not unless they are giving out 4 points for win these days.

its the dippers remember, they probably will have a petition to uefa about that....

Its always comforting to know that despite the media love parade over the patron saint of car stereos, the Mancs and Toffees hate him even more virulently than we do.....the scumbag

Presumably they were empathising with us, having seen us beat the Spammers 4-0 last weekend.
