I was wondering if, after the CL result, and the supposed close call between Terry and Rio for the England captaincy.....that the press will call for, and Rio will ultimately get, the England captaincy because Rio was on the winning side?

Not so sure he willl be captain just because he was on the winning side. When that argument broke out who was there calming everything down ? JT was, Rio is not a natural leader and that is why he was not there sorting things out. You didnt see Rio step up to take the final pen kick did you ? he was cowering away on the half way line.

It is not if you win the game but how you played it in relation to choosing Englands captain. I would be very surprised if Rio gets the nod.
