this is very likely to have been posted somewhere already as i have a real bad habit of writin these things only for them to be shifted to a topic someone wrote 3 days ago BUT if it has not already been done id like to say well done to SUPER FRANK on his 100th league goal. frank is one of my all time favorite players and im delighted for him as are all of you. so well done again to the man the myth and the legend that is FRANK LAMPARD. keep it up lamps

p.s i do realise of corse that this couldnt possibly have been written 3 days ago because he only scored his 100th today but you know what i mean

He has been brilliant so far this season, congrats to Frank.

He's becoming quite good in the air as well now. That's his third goal with his head this season (I think).

im not im from northern ireland where we are considered british but lets not get into it

Fair enough. But I'm from Scotland, so I'm Scottish AND British. Taffies are Welsh and British, and those born south of our border are English and British. Are you saying that people from Northern Ireland are not Irish as well as British?

Well done Frank, a great day for Chelsea. 100th goal for Frank, 1000th for the club, and isn't cech now very close to 100 clean sheets?

23 of Lampard's premiership goals were scored for Wet Spam, so that's how many he needs to make his Chelsea 100.

Petr Cech also got his 100th clean sheet (:

Cech delight at landmark

Chelsea No.1 Petr Cech is delighted to have kept his 100th clean sheet for the club.

Cech's blank against Sunderland in the 5-0 win at the weekend meant the Czech star reached the landmark after just 180 appearances for the club.

Now Cech has his sights set on the club record - 205 - which is held by Peter Bonetti.

"I am glad that I have reached the 100," he told his own website.

"If I go on like this, I might break his record in five years.

"Even more I am satisfied with the fact that I have made most of them in the Premier League and in the Champions League, in the two best football competitions in the world.

"It is also a good result for the defensive play of the whole team."

Liverpool response

Cech has hailed the way in which Chelsea have bounced back from their home defeat to Liverpool by easing to wins over Hull and Sunderland.

"Both our victories have been the best response to the defeat to Liverpool," he said.

"Defeats are part of football, but the most important thing has been how we responded.

"Everything went well. Just the weather could have been better, it was rather cold, windy and dark!"

Cech was speaking as Chelsea flew to Italy ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash with Roma.

"We flew on Sunday, in order to have enough time for rehabilitation and to be able to prepare for the game as best as we can," he said.

"We want to win as three points would practically seal our place past the group stages.

"To be through as soon as possible is our objective, so then we are able to concentrate fully on the Premier League and the Carling Cup."

Congratualtions to Frank, Petr and to Chelsea. Three fantastic acheivements.

Can I also ask that if you aren't going to post something positive on this thread (particularly about Lampard) don't post on this thread!

Thanks.
