England v. Germany

Ordinarily I wouldnt start a topic on this but i've just read that Mancienne has received a senior callup from Capello

pretty significant news, imo, and it must do worlds for his confidence.

If we have a player like that waiting in the wings, does it make one of our current CB's expendable? Maybe the principle of selling high might have some relevance. Just throwing it out there

Well if you look at who is ahead of him in the pecking order and their ages

Terry 27

Carvalho 30

Alex 26

Ivanovic 24

then he is a million miles from the first team as none of those players are near retiring and he is never going to get a chance to prove whether or not he should move above any of them.

I suppose you could argue that Scolari should maybe look to the future and cash in on Carvalho as he only has maybe 3 years left at the top however I don't see that happening.

He's just talented in become injured at the correct time - who could blame him for that? He comes first before everyone else!

A scouser whispered to me that "they" wouldn't refuse ... so it's going to be a big drama again ...

Am I the only one asking myself how could the lad claim he loves to wear his white shirt when he's never available when it comes to wearing it? He must have some metaphysical in-touch with this shirt that he could love it without wearing it! I'm not deep enough to philosophy to figure this out!

It's quite simple. GERRARD (excuse the language) has been indisputably proven to be a lying two-faced whining hypocritical nasty little cheating little whiny scouse git.

I'd like to request that the word GERRARD (excuse the language) be added to the swear filter, to be perhaps automatically replaced by something like ... what a nasty koppite eejit ratbag. or w.a.n.k.e.r. for short.

Nothing to add

If not possible to add it to the forum parser to replace this "term" automcatically I'm kindly asking if it could be forbidden here and earsed from the description in the "streaming forum". The reason is that everytime I see this "term" I'm trying to track and ban it with my adblock filter just to see that there is still no firefox addon to block it. But at least I've gotten rid to this sh*t face (thanks to adblock) sothat I don't risk ruining my innocent hardware equipment in a sudden rage of wrath

[edit] reason for edit: again my horrifying language abilities. AoE Zone seems not to be a good language trainer ...

what a good game for a friendly

englands b team played realy well only 1 mistake

jt should have put it in row z, but made it for it with a great goal

i'm pleased with englands performances over the last few games

i'm not happy having an italian in charge but hes doing a good job

J T after the game saying it was his fault for the Germany goal, nice gesture as Carson needs the confidence...also it was really one of those he should have thought "if in doubt, clout it out"

nice way to make amends fro JT with a well taken goal.

Yes I thought his interview was very noble and captain like, love the bloke but to be really honest it is easy to take the blame when you have just scored a cracking winner.

Germany were shocking !
