loz Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 A disappointing result and more points dropped at home. ONly saving grace was that the scousers did the same.
Phillip Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I thought Mikel was very good out there, and was even passing forward a few times.
loz Posted November 22, 2008 Author Posted November 22, 2008 Bosingwa for me today with Lampard the only player to challenge him. He was a constant threat o the right hand side, far more than Joe was and his crossing was better today than it has been for a while.
Phillip Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Joe Cole! Are you serious? He was either the worst or the second worst, in my opinion (Deco was probably the worst).
Chippy Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I wouldn't vote for a striker after that display so it made my choice between Boswinga and Ivanovich, I think Boswinga is most games doing a very good job and today always looked the one likely to put the ball into somewhere that could give us the breakthrough' Shame no one really got on the end of anything, Mikels little chip for Lamps early on was good and think he had a decent game, while Ivanovich is looking like he fits in well and got forward a few times as well. from what I saw on the Stream I do think Boswinga just gets it today.
PloKoon13 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Voted for Cashley... he got a few good attacks going down the left... it's a shame he only had Malouda to work with.
coco Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Boswinga had a very good game, as did Lampard. Ivanovic didnt have loads to do so I find it hard to award him MOTM. Boswings gets my vote today for his crosses, shame nobody made use of them, cant wait to see Drogba feeding of Boswinga.
Mr Chelsea Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 a good team performance today with out hitting the back of the net lampard stood out for me especially the 1st half where he was basically running the game he dropped off a bit in the 2nd half but still gets my vote ivanovic did very well, and boswinga was very good getting forward, thought deco had his best game in a while
TheWestwayWonder Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Ivanovic, but that is mainly because this is the first time I have seen him in a full game, and because I was frustrated with everyone else. He might not have had alot to do, but he made what he did do look easy. We have a great player in Branslav
geezer Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Branislav Ivanovic by a country mile. Marshalled the back and covered others when they made mistakes. Never put a foot wrong all match and never gave Newcastle a sniff of goal.

Lamps cannot be MoM just for that bad display.
Jimboola69 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Bosingwa for me. Looked a real threat. Malouda, Deco and Cashley were attrocious! When they get back to their big houses tonight they really need to take a good long look in the mirror.
byatt Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Ivanovic for me, a very tidy performance, certainly looks a decent player and would play every week in a lesser team
icecoolguy22 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 No MOTM for me, Lampard is the most likely one to create something. Ivanovic was solid, forced martin to retire 50 minutes into the match.
andy Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Ivanovic for me as well.. I think mos to fthose around me were very impressed with him also. Plays well whenever he is called upon, lets hope we can keep him interested.
