Declan Rice to Chelsea?

[just]

£105 million. Sold to the North London knobs.

Looks like we might see the Rice / Jorginho midfield combo @Gol15 was always wishing for.

[Chelsbear]

Over 100 million for Rice

[Sconnie Blue]

I honestly can't fathom spending that much on a midfielder who doesn't have elite ball retention ability.

Arsenal will be interesting this year.

Near enough the same price as Enzo and I know who I'd rather have.

Both?

[TheCeleryKing]

I guess we are signing that kid from Celta Vigo.

maybe we should have signed Macallister? alongside Enzo.  Argie team now we are.

[TheCeleryKing]

Declan rice to man united? to play alongside Mount?  i wonder.

So is it reasonable to count Arsenal as a big club or not?

This saga is similar to Neymar for 3 seasons we almost signed Neymar b4 Barca and similarly now DC.

[Sexyfootball]

And now confirmed. Bullet well and truly dodged.

Arsenal TV should be worth a watch once they've had a few months of £165m of Rice and Havertz ...

Not to mention Jorginho...on the bench

North London Chelsea rejects?

Exhibit 1 million as to why managers should never get full control on transfers.

Exhibit 2, Arsenal are really going into next season with a Havertz/Rice/Odegaard midfield.

100m for a midfielder who is limited on the ball (able to play it around, dictate play and open defense's from deep) will always be baffling to me. Typical English media though drooling for Arsenal over this move yet criticizing Chelsea for getting a much superior footballer in Enzo.
