Being reported as a Fofana alternative. Looks promising.

Indeed, but we should have had this guy bought and banked weeks and weeks ago at the same time as Koulibaly. We could have still been going after Fofana as our marquee signing but with the knowledge that we already had strength in depth with two good CBs from the continent adapting to the league.

Instead we are praying on the Fofana deal because the alternative is desperately running around like headless chickens trying to find any seat to get our proverbial bums on before the music stops.

Haven’t Leverkusen conceded a load of goals and bottom of the league?

Tapsoba is one of the best CBs in Bundesliga and Portuguese international player.
So he is young and still can develop and improve. At the moment he is of course not in the same league like Rüdiger or Koulibaly but he is one step ahead of Chalobah.

But I think Leverkusen will request around 50 or 60 m euros for him and this will be too much for him IMO.

Been loads of great players in poor teams including our own Jimmy Greaves who said '' I could score five yet that lot at the back would let in six''.

probably how Thiago Silva feels every day

Mentioned him a few weeks ago, class player tbh. Excellent passer, but not sure how he has recovered from injury. Anyway Fofana looks in the bag now, so maybe this is one to watch for when Thiago Silva leaves.

I think we should still be going in for this guy now as well if we were genuinely interested in him.
