Favourite all time musical

West Side Story for me is the best I've encountered, for performance (in the film) and songs.Also a fan of The Producers, Oliver, Grease, and if I may bar stewardise the lines between Opera and Musical, Porgy and Bess by Gershwin.

The only version I know of Porgy and Bess is the Miles Davis album of the same name - which is indescribably wonderful. And then there's "I loves you Porgy" by Nina Simone. Never seen the actual musical/opera though.

Les Miz is incredible. Mamma Mia was surprisingly awesome. And a musical I'd love to see is Spamalot. Anyone seen it?
