League Cup Draw

[charierre]

We got City away. At least we won’t waste time in this competition this year.

Can't wait to see the usual suspects talk about how much worse Tuchel is making everything if we can't beat the best team on the planet away.

Cups were meant to be our thing this season

Oh well

We’ll probably beat City anyway. Can’t see Pep fielding full strength team.

Perfect. We knock out a favorite or go out ourselves and save a bunch of fixtures.

Sounds like a win-win draw. We win, it be a good boost even City played their reserve. If we lose, no shame losing to City, and save our energy for better things. The issue with last season was somehow we made into both cup finals, towards the end we were our of breath and lost both finals and CL ties.

Better to be KO early in this one tbh. I want the FA cup desperately though.

Saves another defeat at Wembley, we’re cursed there these days.

[mojo]

well this is so staged, but I don’t mind

[KonaKai Blue]

Honestly I won't mind if we lose. I'll be happy with a great performance and a narrow loss. Pointless trophy.

And the inevitable Mount disasterclass.

[Munkunku]

Good, that’ll get our seasonal fixture congestion down a bit.
