Malo Gusto to Chelsea

The first goal was a clear error from Hato, but him being outmuscled by the Hull player so easily before that ball came in is way too typical for him. It's very frustrating seeing him in attack as he's just sooo useless there and wastes every opportunity he's involved in, but he can't even defend and he's supposed to be a defender.

Play him in cup games as a RB/RWB and leave him on the bench for the rest.

You just can't lose that basic 1v1 there with the Hull attacker. Had all the time in the world to do something and somehow manage to f**k it up. Not only that, but he was that stupid to also let the Hull player cross de ball. And it was not even a phase of play at fast pace.

He also had that cross inside the box that if he had used his only brain cell and looked around, he'd have seen both Neto and Palmer all free. He always does this, always manages to f**k up 9/10 crosses. Hope we bench him and get him the f**k out in the winter.

 
He should be bungeed to within a few metres of the touchline somehow.

 
We are so sh*t in squad building that he gets free rein to a starting spot.

 
I doubt anyone can defend Alonso selecting Gusto again today. After his horror display vs Leeds he follows up again today, and that is on you Xabi for picking this waste of space!

Had Josh and Reece who you could play at right back and both of them stop that cross, Gusto jumped out of the way FFS!

Learn from you mistakes, keep picking Gusto and you will be out of a job.

 
Only positive is Alonso seems to learn from his mistakes pretty quickly, so I don’t expect to see Gusto feature much at all once Palestra is back

 
Gusto needs to stay away from our starting XI. I have never taken to him and never will. The quicker we move players like him on the better.

Alonso again playing Gusto is the one black mark for him to date.

I can only imagine it's his energy at getting up and down the pitch that gets him selected. Gusto is one of these utility players but utility players are meant to be decent in a few positions not sh*t wherever they play. I honestly thought after the Leeds game that we would see little of him so him being picked yesterday was a nasty surprise and Alonso must wake up to the fact that just having a bit of energy is not enough to merit a place in the side.

I'm sure they omitted all the stats that make him look good, like successful dribbles and crosses, assists, goals, goal line clearances etc.

One of two for me. The other being how pathetic we are defensivly.

 
I would let him off for that as it is still early days and he neds to see which defenders are the ones he can trust and have a bit of faith in (not many of them by the looks of things).

You can't put Hato's error on him yesterday. These things happen and Hato hopefully won't make such a mistake again.
