MOTM vs Fulham (A) (PL)

A fun game and a deserved win? Nobody wake me up.

Take your pick.

Palmer for me. Gallagher a very close second. Thought Pochettino took Pslmer off far too soon.

[mojo]

Sanchez made a cruical save when the game could swing if they score

It feels wonderful that any one of five players would be a worthy MOTM vote, and the two goalscorers aren't on that list.

Any of Colwill, Gallagher, Caicedo, Fernández or Palmer would be fine. Went for Caicedo in the end.

Captain Conor.

[erskblue]

Went for Gallacher.

Tough choice for once !! I went for Palmer as for me, this kid is the difference between us winning and losing, the missing link since Hazard left. I almost feel guilty for not picking Conor Gallagher because he was awesome and I was again impressed again by Cucurella (you'll never type that) and Colwill and dare I say it, but I like Sanchez too.

[coombsie]

Captain Conor.

Do you know, this kid is actually playing and looking like a Captain !!!

Finally it's harder to take a decision...

Went with Caicedo. I think he showed exactly what he came for and this quality gives you a lot in a team play. He was above everyone.

What a  refreshing change to see 7 players with votes, and not one yet for Silva (who was great) or Enzo.

To think there were people in the match chat who didn't even want Gallagher to start

[andy]

It was telling that in the post match interview Connor said that Poch gave the midfield three a free to move anywhere and they kind of fell into their natural positions.

I have to say there were times when it looked a bit messy but on the whole they really bossed the game and some lovely little interchanges, I think they would need to be more disciplined versus stronger opposition though.

I thought Broja was excellent, first time this season I felt there could be more goals here, he really caused them problems, and like wise with Palmer.

Gone with Gallagher overall though, great boost for the lad being captain as well.

Hard not to give it to Gallagher who was immense last night. Exactly what you want from a midfielder (and captain) in a local derby. He just never stopped. Might not always have the best touch but still showed a lot of quality. Silva and Colwill were excellent too but I voted Palmer who was brilliant and exactly what I want to see in a footballer.
