Andreas Christensen

Hang on, if we can't bring Christensen back because of the loan contract then surely we won't be able to sell him either
I think the difference would be all 3 parties would be agreeing to scrap the loan arrangement should we want to sell, but all 3 parties wouldnt agree to us recalling him early, and we would have to pay compensation.

I doubt the club would be stupid enough to ditch him, then again going by the last year and a bit I guess it would be par for the course. Zero point in selling him just to buy him back a year down the line, they should be told to wait until the end of the loan if they want to make a move for him.

Have you seen our transfers recently? I wouldn't put anything past them at the moment.

Keep reading he won't be sold under any circumstances and will be coming back next year...presumably (my opinion of the board's thinking here) to take JT's place

nonsense. if the shoe was on the other foot they would be demanding over £40 million for him. got potential to be one of the best centre backs in europe and we're just gonna have our pants pulled down and do nothing about it.

Hopefully GC. I would keep JT around one more year to actually groom Andreas and due to extreme shortage of leadership in the team. (I am also guessing that this will be Iva's last season).

I agree. Just not sure the board see it that way..after all why leave it so late to give Jt a deal at end of last season?

We've had this kind of situation before (Courtois and Atletico)

Christensen is definitely Conte's CB type. I just hope Conte keeps up with Christensen's progressive

I see he is very popular with Barca fans, I hope Barca don't try and take him from us.

How good is this lad? I've seen very little of him so I can't judge, but is he really ad good as some people here are making him out to be?

Well we'll get a good idea this season when he's coming up against Barca and City in the Champions League.

Is anyone watching how he's doing vs city?
Started off well. I made the mistake of saying so elsewhere on the forum and seconds later he lost Aguero for the first goal...on this evidence, reckon another year on loan learning some more and playing regularly was the right decision...still a bit raw

Strange. That sounds like we have defenders who don't lose their attackers every game at least once. When saying whether he should come back to Chelsea or not it should be liked at comparatively to what we already have. Comparatively he is better then they are.

I hear Barca are looking at the Christensen situation and might make a cheeky £20M bid for him.

They can f**k right off with that. Still, at least Barca being linked with him might make our hierarchy realize we do have a real talent on our hands so hopefully we won't f**k this up in any way.

Hello to all fans of Chelsea,

I made a video about Andreas Christensen and I wanted to share with you the particular lot of action with Chelsea U23.
I hope you enjoy it and if you could tell me if you think he could stay at Chelsea next year after 2 years at Gladbach convincing especially since it seems to be one of the future best central defender.
