It's like the van dijk transfer just 60 million less.

It's quite funny reading the Everton fans reaction to this. They are pretty pissed that they went from getting £35m to £15m in only a few months. I have seen words like "traitor" and "a rat"

It's ok Everton, you can have him back in 10 years time and you can fall in love with him all over again like you have with Rooney

English talent is expensive so £15m  for a young English player with good potential is a decent deal. Welcome to the Blues (the proper ones).

on a serious note would be brilliant to have someone even as half as talented and successful as Lamps.

If Barkley was half as successful as Lampard, he’d score 100 goals.

surprised to find out he's 6'2. i thought he was much shorter. gives us some added height in midfield too.

Question: a few of you have talked about him being injury prone, made of glass, Studge Wilshere etc. but apart from this injury and a leg break at 16 he seems to have put in 30+ games a season since he was 19. Am I missing something?

His hairstyle is way too conventional to be an outstanding footballer.

Don't worry, I don't think he's a conventional player...

Barkley is taller than I thought he was ... 189cm ... maybe we are going down the "power" route for midfield again ... ?
