What? ATWAS is a fantastic live album. Having seen both Motorhead and Rush live, I can quite safely say that while both were excellent, Rush's performance was simply a class above.

The Clash - From here to Eternity

Green Day - Bullet in a Bible

Oasis - Familiar to Millions

The Jam - Live Jam

The Who - Live at Leeds

Nirvana - From the Muddy Banks of the Wiskah

Slipknot - 9.0 Live

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Live at Hyde Park

I love Bullet In A Bible. I got the DVD and it's amaaazing.

Slipknot I haven't seen, but have seen clips on Youtube and was awed by it. Joey Jordinson on the drums is incredible. Will have to see them one day.

Oh I do

My band went on after Motorhead at a festival a few years ago. we had to stop after 20 minutes for the strippers though!

Have any of you heard the "new" Clash live album Live at the Shea Stadium? Is it any good? I've read some good reviews, but I'd love to hear some fans' opinions.

Yeah its brilliant. Ive had a bootleg for a few years now , but this is now remastered quality recording.

Its worth buying just for Kosmo Vinyls introduction...

I'm suprised no one has mentioned One Wild Night yet (i'm not really, you all have terrible taste in music :))

no prizes for guessing who it is by B)

I had a pretty good hunch about who it was made by, but I googled it just to be sure and I have to say the name of the record is very misleading. Ok, the term "wild" is a relative thing so I'll leave that alone, but how can you call it "One Wild Night" when it includes performances from a 16 year time period? B)

One Wild Night is the name of a single that was released around the same time. There is a live preview of it on there i think (lost the album years ago)

some of the songs sound better live. Something To Believe In is better live as is Just Older

Sexelk - do you like Journey ?
NNNOOOOO, please for the love of god NNNNOOOO. can we not bring rubbish like this into the music threads, it makes me feel ill.

Im only asking because of The Sopranos ending....

Something I think about every day!

Im afraid i have no idea what you are talking about.

lol I didn't think you would

A cultchie is a big lumbering oaf of a country boy. Comes into belfast for uni normally. Uncultured, ignorant, clumsey, no manners. The girls are worse

they frequent the clubs in belfast on a saturday night and this is their anthem. Gets played towards the end of the night and they go f*ckin mental :cool-smiley-030:

Maybe i should know that - i just spent a year in Ireland (spent time on both sides of the border) but never heard that expression (i dont think).

I did hear Dont Stop Belivin a lot though. As you said its become a bit of an anthem over there.

I only refer to it because of The Sopranos link mind you.
