Suggs is a massive Chelsea fan and often seen at the bridge as is Woody .
Actually, Suggs was one of the reasons I became intretested in Chelsea. London had been my favorite big European city for a long time and when I read a Suggs interview(I was a huge ska fan before I was a Chelsea fan) he said he'd rather see Chelsea win the English championship than see Madness get a gold record. That made me realize what a big deal Chelsea was to Suggs and I wanted to know more about this team called CFC. After that Chelsea has been my only foreign team in football.

I remember an away night in Europe, I think we were going out due to the result. They cut to the crowd and there was a bloke still trying to get the crowd going. That person was Suggs.

Also, if you have Chelsea TV (at least when I had it), the Blue Day song always played, and that was Sugg's

Oh to have been there when that happened, that must have been superb.

frank lebouef, who is a celebrity in France STILL raves about the time he spent at Chelsea.

I remember seeing that, but can't remember what match it was. Maybe it was the home match against Monaco...(?)

d'accord mon vieux, je sais que tu habites en France, mais tout le monde peut se tromper!

I knew there was something moi wasn't telling us!

Didn't know you could speak French, secbastia.
Dammit Joe, mon jeune, you beat me to it! He speaks jolly good French - how was he to know I was a woman - it's not as if I ever say anything illogical or lose my temper irrationally or express admiration for manly men (e.g. Big G or Al Pacino)

Depeche mode 2 are Chelsea fans and a few more in Blur ::ChELSeAFaN::
Damon Alburn of Blur was the big Chelsea fan. I actually met him once when I was lucky enough to be present at a testimonial dinner for Paul Elliott in the mid 90's. Ruud Gullit had just signed for Chelsea and I remember Damon Alburn and I were stood next to each other waiting to get served at the bar. Ruud Gullit steps up next to us and I think we were both equally starstruck :)

Phil Daniels (Quadrophenia) is a huge Chelsea fan. I used to have some connections at the bridge in the 90's so got in the Director's box from time to time. He was also in the Director's box on one occasion so I had the chance to share a couple of pints with him after the game. Apart from getting the chance to talk about Quadrophenia with him a bit I remember he was very knowledgeable about Chelsea and claimed to travel to a fair few of our away games in the 80's. He told me a good story about being in the Sheffield Wednesday end for the 4-4 comeback cup game in the mid 80's.
