Haha, there's loads of us going mate, looking forward to it.Never mind carshalton, its 4 hours free bar so you wont care that you are on your own by the end of the night!
Here you go mateI'm planning to be there bit confused how to pay know of of a few others gonna be there
On page one it's advertised as being in Kensington. Would the ex players been happy about not knowing where the venue was till yesterday?.So the Police cancelled the do on friday, leaving 100s of us in limbo especially the organiser who will lose loads of money.
There was no reason at all to cancel the do, the excuse it was on safety grounds due to intelligence that another group were planning to turn up to cause trouble is utter bullsh*t, for starters the venue was being kept secret right up to yesterday, so how could another group know where it was being held?
The actual venue had two coppers stood outside it yesterday with a notice on the door, what a waste of time & money.
Its a shame the Police dont treat muslim extremists groups the same way, instead of 100s of fans average ages 30 to 70 who just wanted to meet 15 ex players, have a drink & a proper Chelsea knees up.
100s still turned out in SW6 last night, we had a great night, as the saying goes "YOU CANT BAN A CHELSEA FAN".
ACAB.
Kensington was also cancelled by plod hence the new venue being kept secret right until the last min, the players knew the score. On page one it's advertised as being in Kensington. Would the ex players been happy about not knowing where the venue was till yesterday?.
Its bo**ocks mate, ended up in The Lillie & The Oak mate, great night.Who would have ambushed it CB surely anyone at the venue would have been retired from the scene. Just a pathetic excuse from the OB. Glad ye had a good night where did you end up going in SW6?

Yeah mate it is lovely pub.I drink in the Lillie when I'm over sure pat and mary were happy seeing a big crowd if drinkers come through the door. Is the oak on the north end road ?
My guess would be Tottenham. Kicked off before the Carling Cup Final a few miles away from Wembley a lot of our older lot where there.Who would have ambushed it CB surely anyone at the venue would have been retired from the scene. Not sure to be honest, Jason Cundy is raging about it as he was the mc.Was Kensington cancelled because of potential trouble?.
Nah they woudnt have known where it was, also no proper firm in their right mind would turn up at a do like that especially in this day & age.My guess would be Tottenham. Kicked off before the Carling Cup Final a few miles away from Wembley a lot of our older lot where there.
True. So in a nut shell the old bill cancelled it because they could.Nah they woudnt have known where it was, also no proper firm in their right mind would turn up at a do like that especially in this day & age.
Not only that they'd have been smashed with the numbers we were having.
