Chelsea V Bournemouth (PL) Sat 1st Sep 15:00 UK

just watched motd, they spend more time talking about the brilliance of the champions elect liverpool than they spend on any other team, and with chelsea what a fcuking surprise !! they focus on how alonso was lucky to be on the pitch !! when neither incident even warranted a frigging card !!

rant over

The first incident was 100% nailed on yellow anyone pulls someone back with a shirt now it's instant yellow if spotted

I am so proud of our boys and Sarri has shut me up. I had fears over his appointment but what a breath of fresh air he has been for our team!

This was a game that I had no faith we would win. They have beat us at home 2 seasons in a row and I thought any moment we were going to lose.

The Newcastle and Bournemouth wins for me have cheered me up a lot and I am on board the Sarriball Train!!!

KTBFFH!!!!! Go Sarri !!!!

Hopefully this win puts the ghosts of last season's corresponding 0-3 to rest.

They have been waiting ever so impatiently for liverpool to be champions. The media pressure onthe fa and the refs will be ridiculous cause they have a real chance this season.

Let’s hope they slip up again  :laugh2:
They play spurs, us, and city in their next 4 league games, plus they play psg napoli, and us in the cups, in between those games.

Hopefully they lose a few in that period.

If they dont then the media love in gets worse lol.

It's a tricky one, do we play a strong team to get a win and possible mental edge going into the league game? Do we play a 2nd string to rest players, and not give any tactical advantage that klopp could use in the next game?

Whoever comes out on top after that league game will feel very confident of mounting a serious challenge. We have home advantage so the onus is on us more.

It will be a nervy game in the league, we aren't used to going into these big games playing open attacking football. Really looking forward to it though.
That’s right when was the last time we played like that in big games..Carlo maybe, very interesting to see and nervy

I know this is a late reply, but being beaten twice at the Bridge is a feat we should not be proud of.
Someone was wittering on about their "great record" against us at the bridge, and I just pointed out that it was 2 out of 12, so not so great after all.
