What's new

Chelsea v Brighton (PL) Wed 29th Dec 2021 19:30 GMT

Leicester just won Liverpool 1-0. So we are tied on points with Pool same amount of games played.

Good result for us today. Lets make sure we take advantage of it by winning tomorrow.

Need a win.  Second half vs. Villa was a turning point - lets put this wobble behind us and get some points.  Players are shattered, but winning is a good habit and time for another good run of results.  An early goal will settle the team, and one day, would love to have 2 or 3 by HT!

Mendy

Azpilicueta - Christensen - Rudiger

James - Jorginho - Kovacic - Alonso

Ziyech - Lukaku - CHO

Second half: bring on Chalobah and Saul to level the load on Kovacic and Alonso depending on the result.

Tough game with so bad injury/fatique situation....

Let's hope we prepare adequately to prevent Trossard getting a repeat of his last goal where he lobs the keeper in that space between pushed on CBs and the keeper.

Expect to win though the chaps need to be on their game.

Think we may have to take a few risks to keep us fresher for Liverpool.
