Would you put lampard in your current strongest 11? That's what we are going to put out sunday and for me lampard has 2 or 3 players ahead of him in his position. He is a good sub to bring on when we need a calming influence but he is no longer a starter in big games anymore unfortunately.
He was a massive factor in us winning the Champions League. He deserves a spot. It's not like he's a youth player we're taking a chance on. He's the captain for this tournament. He's the most experienced player in the squad and one of the most talented. He starts. No excuse or do you honestly think Luiz deserves that midfield spot over him?

Let's not give them too much respect. We're miles better in terms of quality. If I don't see Super Frank lift that trophy on Sunday then, it would be a massive upset.

Don't really care about this match or competition. Was much more interested in the super cup.

Yeah, but at least we've won a Super Cup in the past, this is something new, something else to

cross off the list.

The Super Cup is the community shield of Europe.

The CWC is a major trophy. It also brings £4 Million in prize money.

If we win, do we replace the champions of Europe chants with champions of the world chants?

Don't see why not, but we'd have to edit it slightly. Champions of The World just doesn't sound as good to the beat of the chant as Champions of Europe does.

Seeing reports of some of our fans experiencing unpleasant giving it large stuff from Corinthian fans out there. Prompted one of our longstanding fans to say she wants us to beat Corinthians even more than Barca, Manure, Liverpool, Tottenham or Arsenal. Believe me coming from a fan who hasn't missed a game home or away for many years that is quite a statement.

We will see whose giving it the large stuff when Frank lifts the trophy tomorrow. I will be seething with rage if we lose this. No excuses.

Corinthians are not a team to be taken lightly. They are currently 6th in the Brazilian  league and won it last season. I have seen them in action a few times. They are well organised and defend extremely well. The few times I've seen them they played a 4-2-3-1 formation. Paulinho and Ralf are their two defensive midfielders with Paulinho more attack oriented. The attack is based on creating opportunities for Guerro. If Luiz is used in central defence which I hope he is it will be crucial for him to make quick decisions and the same applies to Cahill. Losing possession in this area will be exploited by Guerro. I'm sure Benitez has them well prepared and believe Chelsea will come out on top.

Prediction:   Chelsea 2   Corinthians 1.

My son is out in Japan he sent me a text saying that the Corinthian fan are giving Chelsea shifters a hard time .they better hope they don't run in to the cyf youth or the older lot who I know are out in good numbers . He also told me 7 youth got nicked this week and wos held for 8 hrs could get lively the day of the match. good luck to all Chelsea fans Sunday

Should beat them but knowing Chelsea it will be done the hard way

Frank should start and wear the armband, he has been a big part of every trophy these last few years starting with his brace at Bolton and captained the CL winning side, FSW we are watching.

Carefree,

If we are picking a team based on sentimental value then I expect to see paulo start at right back as well. He should only be picked if you believe he is the best option in midfield. I would have ramires and mikel over him at the moment.

Cath??

I feel like we could play a team of mentally disabled midgets and there'd still be somebody saying they aren't to be taken lightly. Corinthians finished 6th in the Campeonato Brasileiro with a record of 15-12-11. They were 20 points off of Fluminense's pace. They were outplayed by Al-Ahly in their first match of the CWC and are lucky to have advanced. There is no excuse to lose to this team. None.

Regarding Lampard, I have no problem with him starting. It'd be a nice gesture for him to start the match that should see us lift another trophy. The difference between winning and losing against Corinthians will have nothing to do with whether or not Lampard plays. It'd take a series of colossal errors, not the choice of one midfielder. Ergo, I say give him the nod.

We should win this, we have too. No if's or buts. We're by far the better team here. We supposedly can't travel home straight after the game, so preparation for the Leeds game will be a taf hectic, so I'd rather not see us go all out, get the job done, get a few subs on and relax. No need to win 5-0 or leave all our best players on for 90 minutes.  What I'd like to see, but I severely doubt we will see;

         Cech

Azpi Ivan Cahill Cole

   Ramires Mikel

Moses Mata Marin

        Torres

Will be looking at Paulinho closely, even though if his performance is anything like the one in the semi, we better look elsewhere.

If Chelsea beat Corinthians tomorrow, we will wear the badge on the shirt. 'FIFA Club World Club Champions' for he rest of the season, its nice
