Final score: 2-0. Job done.

Little bit nervy at times, but not nearly as much as the commentators were trying to make out. Wolves had a few chances, but nothing that ever seriously threatened Petr Cech. As I wrote earlier, I felt there was a touch of a hangover from the Moscow trip. Even so, the win was well deserved. Bosingwa, who had a very promising return after such a long lay off, came close early on, Anelka and Drogba both had good chances but neither were at their best.

 
Didnt really get into them 2nd half , did enough to win but frustrating to watch.

 
3 points in the bag despite quite a flat performance.

Lets hope le Arse can get something out of their game tommorow.

 
Not the best performance, and Cech certainly deserves Man of the Match.

I do like the looks of the back 4 that started this game.

Essien was quite quiet this game, and it seemed to effect the rest of the midfield 3. Drogba took too many shots he shouldn't, and Nico didn't take enough.

Overall a solid performance, and those types of "gritty" game that make us Championship contenders.

Now praying for a draw tomorrow

 
It wasn't pretty for the most part, and we certainly weren't at our fluent best, but at least the two goals were very nice.

And 3 points is 3 points, and a hard earnt victory after a tough Champions League encounter.

 
Clearly not our best performance of the season but given that we were away in Moscow in the week then this is a thoroughly satisfying result. Anelka and Drogs not at their best in front of goal and Kalou wrapping up the points with his calm finish did help my nerves a tad! Bosingwa put in a very good 70 minutes which was excellent to see.

Kalou is now firmly established as a fine squad player and all talk of punting him must surely be history now.

9 goals in last 9 pl games for Kalou, and he actually looks good out there :)

Drogba should stop talking corners. I dont see the point when we have Malouda and Zhirkov

I agree. We seem to look a lot less threatening from corners than we used to, Drogba needs to be getting on the end of some.

 
A solid performance after a difficult away trip,credit to Wolves for taking the game us. Nice goal again by Kalou ..he is a very useful player to come on when the game is stretched.

 
Generally a very open game that became frustrating for long periods. No complaints though, 3 valuable points.

Credit to Wolves who gave it a good go, but our class shone through when it mattered most.

Who was the co-commentator? Was it Paul Walsh?

He didn't seem to want to give us any decisions. Particularly the handball shouts. Not really surprising from a former spuds twat (if it was him)

 
Well done lads! We should score two more goals, 4-0 would look much better than 2-0, but I enjoy the win! ;)

 
Well job done, thats pretty much the best you can say. All we need to do after a euro game is win the following weekend, no matter how. As for Kalou, if someone had said at the start of last season that the 2 best players this season so far would be Malouda and Kalou I would have laughed myself silly (well, sillier), but Kalou really has flourished this season so far and is a very important player for us at the minute.
