Lay off Drogba you idiots he is unfit at the moment just as was Costa when the idiots who posted that he was doomed to be a failure without true knowledge of the player. Ivanovic, Courtois (those saying he was a gamble also hang your head in shame ) and Costa were the picks, Schmeical looks like a late developer like his father ...

Amusing side note to the game, just saw the match stats on whoscored: Fabregas is credited with an assist for the Hazard goal (what?) yet Ivan isn't credited with one for Costa's. Says a lot about football statistics right there.
Ivan's pass was deflected though.

You don't have to be an idiot to question the signing of a 36yr old.

Nice common sense post... :JC_doubleup:

He's right though, he had 5 minutes at the end of the game when the midfield were just walking around the pitch, what did you expect DD to do? lol.

Man of the match Thibaut, game could have been over before we ever got in it if not for him.

Side note; What is with that Gary Taylor-Fletcher bloke? I swear he looks like the bloke that collects the trolleys at my local shops.

Sorry if this has been mentioned but anyone who didnt get to watch the game we are on game of the day at 8 on sky sports 1

I'm constantly calling for Branna to be dropped. Fail me.
I wanted him off at half time, and Luis coming on so we could push the more attacking natures full backs up on the overlap.  Very happy to be wrong on this one!

Thank God we were below Paul Gascoigne on the list of managerial candidates eh?!

To be fair... I was saying it last season too, so you're probably one above me in the candidates!

Drogba high-fived me. One of the greatest moments of my life.
Details please.

Well, unfortunately you just had too much for us today. On another day we may have taken our chances and even got something from it but hey, that's football.

No complaints about the result. Your class showed second half.

All the best for the season.

You can be proud of your lads effort though, really played well and if able yo keep that up will comfortably stay up. Good luck.

Cheers mate. Yep I'm proud of em and hopefully we can learn from these games moving forward.

At least it gets easier from here, just Arsenal next week!!

Hold your heads high, you put up a hell of a fight like most of us were predicting and almost even took the lead if it weren't for Courtois.

You'll end up in the top half of the table I'm pretty sure.

All the best.

I am very happy with the games to date.  Yes we have had two iffy halves and two good ones however it is the start of the season, we have three new players bedding in and all three of them are involved in the spine of the team.  We have been a little fortunate in terms of who we have had to face but six points out of six whilst bedding players in is never to be sniffed at.

We have four much 'bigger' games coming up in the next six weeks and we will be in a much better place to assess the way the team is settling down come November 1st.  Good signs so far, when the team ups their performance the passing is slick and we are moving the ball from defence to attack much quicker thus not letting teams get back behind the ball.

I can't see Jose wanting to tinker too much with the back four whilst we are settling down and therefore Luis might struggle to get a huge amount of playing time in the opening couple of months the season.
