Chelsea vs Stoke MOTM

Mikel,only 103 passes,what a crap player,when will ramires take his place?

great game from mikel today,he's done well in our first 3 and deserves to keep his place.

[Anders]

Gave it to Mikel.

Very good performances from Alex, Malouda, Anelka, Ash, Essien and JT but stand out just for me was Mikel who has had a fair share of critisism but could make this the season he fulfils his potential.

[amART]

he play good, because he is scaring ramires to take his place in first team

you couldnt be more wrong.

he's playing well because he has found confidence in himself and has been given opportunity to show his talent,i dont doubt that he is aware that ramires will most likely feature in his position alot but he's just doing his best for the team and atm we cant fault him

[KrazyTea]

I've been really impressed with him thus far this season.

I voted for Cole myself but I have to agree with ya I like what I have seen from Mikel thus far in the season. Be interesting to see if he can carry that play over against some more rated competition, would definitely be a positive sign of Maturity for Mikel.

[rahul]

Anelka played pretty well too...lot of selfless running. Mikel had a good game. Would be nice to see a healthy competition for the defensive mid spot.
