Have to think Estevao will be first to come on. Who plays thru the middle - Rogers or Palmer, or just fluid. Think we’ll miss a focal point today - Wellbeck would have been more logical.

Hopefully defense and midfield wins this one today for us

Have a bad feeling about this game. Hope im wrong

I’d never have expected to see Quenda start. I was thinking that maybe he was just another Gittens, Mudryk etc winger flop. But maybe Alonso has seen enough to believe he’s actually better or more applied than Estevao? It is a head scratcher.

It would be silly to draw any conclusions based on Cobham sessions only. Estevao was not given a run of games yet to see if he is good enough or not. Must be given time on the pitch to see what he actually is all about. It would be such a stupid thing to see yet another player turn into a world beater elsewhere knowing we had him here, but did not give him enough time to prove his worth.

Never saw him as a 10 personally. Think his biggest weakest is receiving the ball with his back to the defender.

He doesn’t start at City, Arsenal or even Liverpool maybe. He doesn’t start at Bayern, Real, Barcelona or PSG.
These are the only clubs we should benchmark any young player against
 
Team looks considerably weaker without JP and never a fan of false 9, hopefully we’ll have enough to beat these c**ts though.
 
Any news on JP’s injury? I’m excited to see Quenda start but what a blow Pedro has been phenomenal
