I've had 1 hours kip but wow I completely forgot he was still on the books. I thought we sold him!

ugh, its going to be one of those days!

Think we have sold him….for £20 m
Bloody hell, don't scare me like that @Simplymo! Had to google to make sure @nonotnowjim is right: he was sold, not loaned. But as long as there are fanboys who keep moaning we didn't build a team around their mostly underwhelming boy and feel vindicated by his performance in a vastly different league, we'll never be really shot of him.

Thank fk, i scared myself there, lol

Its the sleep deprivation, I'm too old to stay up late anymore or go without kip.

Ikr...I'm working from home today. The temptation to get into bed is overwhelming atm and it's not even 9am.
I'm in my third and final week of my holiday, I plan an afternoon nap to help cure a cold 😛 Can I suggest you take a loooong lunch break, on the sofa perhaps? Don't dream of any Americans though.

Even the sofa looks really nice atm...there's a fleece throw folded on the side and some really comfortable cushions nearby. I might not be able to hold out till lunch time. I'm tempted to call in an off day in lieu.

He's a decent player. I'd rather have him than Mudryk. Just he's made of glass and striuggled wioth the pace and strength of the PL. He'll flourish in a weaker league like Italy.

What is that I hear? Are those calls coming from all the top clubs around the world as Pulisic has skyrocketed to the top of transfer targets? Reports everywhere that Liverpool is looking to make a move on him after he scored on them yet again?

Hmmm. Guess so.

No its ok though. Continue to change your entire roster over every 3 years rather than making strategic, smart investments with a priority on player development. Surely that strategy will work one of these days.
'skyrocketed'

'scored on them'

'roster'

I see some yank has found the Pulisic thread again. One day they'll realise that their country produces absolutely dog sh*t players that aren't good enough for Prem football.

Ice forming.

Part of the reason is we had to "change our rooster" is because this genius your repping scored one goal in an entire season.

Just in time for the horrors of October and Halloween, I bring back the dead... Up working late this dropped via AP. Reads just like his time here in Chelsea. TBF he's played alright for them since signing. Spooky though how clubs are interchangeable though with players and injury/ international duty.

"AC Milan could be forgiven for being angry with the United States.

Top player Christian Pulisic has come back injured from international duty and although the U.S. winger still has to be fully evaluated by Milan, reports say he could be sidelined for nearly a month.

That would mean Pulisic would not only miss Sunday’s match against Fiorentina but also Serie A matches against Pisa, Atalanta, Roma and Parma as the friendly matches played by the U.S. could cost Milan dearly."

I feel sorry for Pulisic in some sense, he gets criticized heavily by USMNT fans when he plays for them, but then he also invariably gets injured on international duty which pisses off his club fans too.

IMO he is a cautionary tale of a player whose body was wrecked by too many intense minutes at a young age. At this rate he'll be dusted by 30. Given the amount of games played these days I wonder if Yamal or Estevao will still be around at age 25.

Yamal could be done by 25, he is already back fit because they want him to play the El Classico. Maresca has been brilliant with Estevao so far, but the issue we have is he is the best of the lot.

He has been injury-ridden at Milan too. Quite possibly a cautionary tale. Pedri is another. Bizarre report on Pedri:

Pedri underwent a “genetic study of his muscles” last season where it was discovered “he needs to work out daily and rest isn’t good for him.”

Since those tests, Barcelona have played Pedri almost constantly and have seen the midfielder seemingly put his previous injury problems behind him.

Pedri made more appearances than any other Barcelona player last season and, currently at least, looks set to do the same in the current campaign.

Indeed he’s expected to start again on Saturday against Girona, despite playing twice for Spain over the international break,

Pulisic has largely remained injury free at Milan. This latest one is the only serious injury he has had since joining them. He played 50 games in both of his previous 2 seasons.
