Daniel Sturridge

If he was available on the cheap yeah id take him but not don't pay £30M for a striker who is never fit plus his big ass wages.

Buying Sturridge, even for a theoretically (and unrealistically) cheap transfer fee, would be a sign of desperation to me. Can you imagine any of our top four rivals signing him? Our goal this season is CL qualification and we are still on track to achieve that. I'd rather we took the time to find a RELIABLE backup/alternative to Morata in the summer rather than panic buying the first striker who happens to be available.

 
He's been fit pretty consistently for about a year now and seems to have gotten over his verbal diarrhea as soon as he doesn't start a game.

We should really have 3 strikers so why not Morata, Dzeko and Studge.

 
I would surely be happy to have him back.

Dont know why he got the stick he did. Was definitely better than torres and deserved his opportunity. Was very good whenever he played too. Would definitely take him for 10mil pounds.

I believe he missed most of December with a hamstring injury and is still not back in their squad... it's hard to be certain with him though as Sturridge injuries tend not to be big news. I rate him as a striker but unless we have two additional good strikers (Morata + ?) then he's too much of a gamble. I'd be happy with Morata, Dzeko and Sturridge as options, not sure how happy Sturridge would be to be (probably) third choice though.
