David Datro Fofana to Chelsea

DDF scored the winning goal for Goztepe today, coming off the bench in the 73rd minute with the score at 2-2, and getting on the scoresheet in added time to seal a 3-2 win. 

A few more and we might be able to find a permanent buyer !

You just know if we could only get DDF and Mudryk on the pitch together it would be a Bergkamp and Overmars partnership.

I understand that Fofana turned down the chance to go to Celtic and preferred Charlton, but then the deadline was missed.

What a mess, but just how bad is Scottish football nowadays that someone would chose a side like Charlton over Celtic?

I wouldn't rule it out, seeing as he already agreed a loan out there last season. Sadly curtailed due to that bad knee injury, but he did score a couple of goals in his 9 appearances so there may well be another Turkish club prepared to take a punt on him on the basis of that ...

Did you see the Washington loan to Santos has been cancelled?

Watch him come back which he is and sold to a Saudi / Turkish club in the next few days.

If that doesn’t happen then unless there are plans for him to be in the squad, which I doubt, then there was no point recalling him

Guess Disasi is staying then.

 
Hopefully we didn't release too many aspiring forwards form our academy due to lack of space during the couple of years that this pointless exercise meandered its way through the annals of this institution
