Except for the one which Villa scored their goal from, but other than that, he played well.I went to the final last night. I was very impressed with Bruma- he won every header

I was sitting at the top of the shed, and i'll admit it, Josh was to quick for my eyes. But I know it was good because you know to get from A-B requires amazing skill/vision. I would really appreciate some footage to marvel at the brilliance too. (He did atleast 3 amazing pieces of skill that are worthy of 'YouTube' status).I'd really love if someone (Gilvorak?) could put together a video of this, especially Josh's performance! I only caught some of the game but he looked outstanding, effortlessly taking the ball past players and some really nice passes too. Great vision, fantastic technique and impressive confidence from someone of that age.
That's exactly how he's played in previous games i've seen him in. He does make mistakes but makes up for them(at this level atleast). He goes into almost every challenge, which is great to see. He still needs a bit more experience though, but looks impressive. Hard to say if he will make it on the big stage consistently imo, but definately lower prem team or championship. I'm very criticalI actually thought that Conor Clifford was below par yesterday and even in most of the first game. He had a few good periods, but was from good enough. His goal was great though.
I probably am. I am one of the worst cynic out there! It just seems he relies solely on his speed and strength, and it's a 50/50 whether he gets around his player. He did a few good crosses, but i found him extremely frustrating to watch. Josh plays a bit in and out (as 'Star' explained in the thread about him- he's always spot on peeps) which i completely agree with, but hopefully that will change somehow.I agree with everything you say about Josh, and he is getting a lot of praise from a lot of places. But, you are being extremely harsh of Gokhan.
Tore needs to learn when to dribble and when to use his speed. He can dribble past a player and he can run past a player, but he often makes the wrong choice on which one he should do.I probably am. KABY INJURY NEWS
Posted on: Wed 05 May 2010
Chelsea youth team midfielder Aliu Djalo (commonly known as Kaby), who was carried off on a stretcher in the last few minutes of the victorious FA Youth Cup Final last night (Tuesday), is due to be discharged from hospital today.
He was taken there after the game having suffered a back injury and underwent a scan. No major problem was found.
I agree. In some games I've seen this season he's been amazing.Tore reminds me of Rooney. He has the same stocky physique and a lot of strength. I thought he did OK but he let his head drop a bit when the ref kept letting the Villa players foul him. I have seen him play a couple of other times though and he does look very promising.
Considering he`s only about 17 thats not really a surprise though and is the kind of thing that will be trained into him. You cant expect the finished product at that age.Tore needs to learn when to dribble and when to use his speed. He can dribble past a player and he can run past a player, but he often makes the wrong choice on which one he should do.
Hopefully he will be a part of the first team squad next season, a Central defensive quartet of JT, Alex, Ivan and Bruma for the gaffer to call upon. The game was discussed for an extended period on the radio late on this afternoon and the general concensus was that Bruma was head and shoulders the best player on the park and that he is comfortably ready to play top flight football on a regular basis. However it was also recognised that his biggest problem was that the players ahead of him in the pecking order are not exactly iffy squad players.
He does have a senior player look about him already. But that's still wrong. On the night, McEachran was the best player on the park by a country mile. The game was discussed for an extended period on the radio late on this afternoon and the general concensus was that Bruma was head and shoulders the best player on the park and that he is comfortably ready to play top flight football on a regular basis. Well above he was compared to Rooney. By the time Rooney was Tore's age he had already played over 60 games for the Everton first team, including many, many league matches. By contrast Tore is still miles away from the Chelsea first team squad.Considering he`s only about 17 thats not really a surprise though and is the kind of thing that will be trained into him. You cant expect the finished product at that age.
