Tournaments without England are always better (apart from the game where England get embarrassed and knocked out). Really hoping for a Spain/Italy v Uruguay final, can't stand Brazil atall or any of their players (outside David Luiz and Oscar)

I prefer Brazil to Uruguay. Uruguay having Luis Suarez just makes it impossible to dislike a team more than them. I also feel that Brazil play better football even if their attitude is ugly. Italy are the team I want to win it don't know why just like the way they play.

Massive loss for Italy, Balotelli has been really instrumental for them in all their games.

It looks like the move to AC Milan has really helped him take his game up a notch as he is now getting regular first team football.

Stupid, stupid penalty for David to give away.  And early yellow means he'll have to watch his step for the rest of the game.  Love him but wish he'd be a bit more careful!

Only slip this whole tournament. Some people would make you believe they happen once a half.

Oh I agree, he's certainly not as prone to mistakes as many would have you believe - or indeed as when he first started playing for us - but still a bit disappointing.

watch him score now
First thing I thought was "hope he scores a belter now"

Jesus, the falling over and feigning injury in this game is pathetic.

Uruguay has a great, experienced team. I'd say this is 50-50 in terms of the result. Brazil more individual flair but Uruguay really know what they are doing.

Oscar's been lot better against a tough team like Uruguay. His stamina is very good for a slim guy. Neymar's been brushed off like a twig a number of times.

Cavani. Bad defending from Brazil. Not Luiz' game this. Not his day to say the least.

well that goal was all silvas fault
Exactly, he tried to clear it and it took a unlucky bounce off a Uruguayan player before bouncing to someone other than Luiz who passed it to Cavani. Luiz was unfortunate there.

Luiz should have got that out but that goal was not completely his fault. But he's been off tonight.

You either clear it or you don't same as in scoring. Doesn't matter how you do it. But not completely Luiz' fault naturally. On a better day he'd kick that ball to row z from there, not tonight apparently.
