Gary Cahill has retired. A fine player.

Pure quality. In his prime certainly one of the best in his position. Also always seemed to me as a fantastic professional. Best of luck to Gary!

A brilliant signing, was expected to basically be a squad player and ended up winning everything for us playing in the finals and important games.

Cahill was a good player for us and a winter window signing if I remember correctly.

It will be interesting to see what he does next, punditry, coaching or something different.

Hazard has said Sarri is the best manager he's worked under.

[Munkunku]

Also took over the armband and a massive weight of from arguably our greatest ever captain with no fuss what so ever.

Surprised to hear that, was he smiling in a knowing way when he said this or on the level?

Apparently Gilmour is unwanted at Brighton and free to leave. Can't even get a game there. Was never going to make it here.

Remind me, did we loan him or sell him?

[Zeta]

Sell

[Munkunku]

Cheers Timo.

[Ballack & Blu]

Really should be a separate thread for Vialli

The dreaded big C has him again, and reports are his condition has worsened, prayers with you Gianluca xx

[Munkunku]

Looks like Jody Morris will be taking over at Swindon Town. Good luck to him.

[Valerie]

Patrick van Aanholt and Thorgan Hazard will go in loan to PSV until the end of the season.

Our former player (2013-2017 says Wikepedia) Christian Atsu is missing after yesterday's earthquake in Turkey, possibly buried under the rubble

Went to watch 1907 Como against Frosinone at the weekend.

Fabregas was an unused sub for Como in what was eventually a 2-0 loss. Probably one of the nicest grounds i've been to location-wise. I got speaking to a woman involved with the club and apparently Dennis Wise is involved in the hierarchy and a large amount of investment is currently happening to build the club back up.

[Munkunku]

Jon’s gone to join a proper club…

Willian's a class act.

Just in case any of you old gits weren't feeling decrepit enough, I would like to wish Mikael Forssell a happy 42nd birthday.
