Liverpool have considerable headroom on their PSR / SCR they could easily spend more in this window, if they wished. They havent run close to the limit for the last few years unlike our geniuses.

My point was only that Bezos' arrival has no impact on that side of things. Until everyone from Iraola down gets shifted onto zero hour contracts.

 
That Man United midfield is going to get destroyed in the PL and having to play extra matches in Europe.

Their honeymoon is over. No other club in Europe has benefited from an easier schedule last season than them. Out in the League Cup in August, out from the FA Cup in January, had a 3 weeks break from March to April when all the other clubs were playing every three or four days.

From Mainoo and Casemiro to Tielemans and Santos. Recipe for disaster. Still think Mainoo will take Santos' place, can't see him benched for someone who not only is not worth 50M, but is miles behind Mainoo in every aspect.

Look at the city press — not a single tackle in the midfield .. I dare say he is made it easy for them.. with Caicedo and James/Lavia I think we will do alright as long as we press them.

Why are you getting so prickly .. I am just saying city is refusing to lay a glove. Yes we can’t rely on Lavia . And I would welcome a more physical midfielder - but I don’t think we get dominated like this.. even as 10 men we competed better.

 
City need Enzo urgently.. Hopefully buy him tonight.. 🙂
