I know it’s never the ideal situation and the likelihood is absolutely minimal
But just looking at the current state of Utd, relegation would be the best thing for them.
They’d offload all that dead wood that’s accumulated and have the financial power when they inevitably immediately returned to the PL to assemble a squad to suit the manager at that point.
