Forum Update

I could change the theme before I log out, but I never know which one I will use next. eg I might want to read the forum on my laptop and then have a peek in bed but go back to the laptop again first then on the pc at work (shush don't tell them) then back on the phone. Okay maybe I'm an addict.

Maybe I'll try downloading the app instead, probably the easiest way to solve it.

 
Any news on the pages nos for mobile version yet Mod ?

I know I'm being a pain in the ass and I apologise for that, it's just that i spend most of my time on the forum on my phone and it's just not the same at the moment and I hate using the full site on this screen as it's far too fiddly.

Or you could play safe by always changing to the mobile theme before you log out. Then if you log on via your phone, it's already there for you, if you use your laptop to log on, a couple of clicks and you've got Shed End 3.2.

Why not just write the pages numbers onto your phone screen in biro, save all that programming time and effort, you selfish bugger. :)

 
I take it all back about Firefox. Since I upgraded to version 6, the vertical scroll bar has disappeared. Apparently this is a fairly common issue with Firefox updates and can be resolved by deleting a settings file, the name of which currently escapes me.

So after clearing the cache I deleted the file, and rebooted before opening Firefox again. What did I get? No bookmarks, no saved passwords and no sodding scroll bar.

 
I noticed the Java console didn't install on this Firefox version, not sure why.

To combat the upgrade probs, totally deinstall it and start again (though I think you have to delete everything as you already have Hutch)

bjd; Will look into the pagination on the mobile version, it is a bit of a nightmare I agree.

 
I'm glad to say the vertical scroll bar is back - but not because of my efforts. After I'd cleared the cache, deleted settings files, and reinstalled Firefox, there was still no scroll bar. I can only think that an auto-update must have fixed whatever was causing the problem.

 
Reluctant though I be to nag you, Mod, (insert long nose icon) I must inform you that the donate button is still not working, so you must be losing squids in donations from frustrated rich old biddies with nothing better to do with their pensions!

 
Yeah I noticed that yesterday when I tried to donate a £1000.............honest.
