What's new

Fulham v Chelsea (PL) Sat 16th Jan 2021 17:30 GMT

Nothing but 3 points against a poor Fulham side is acceptable....although didn't we say that against Arsenal?

I have no idea how Fulham even play. Have they changed their approach from that possession based football they played in the championship?

Anyway we should be winning this game. No excuses really.

It is nice to have three wingers that all deserve to start. With the fixtures so close together, I hope we have a rotation set up to use all three to keep them healthy.

I’d got it in my head this was a Friday night one but luckily @coco has saved the day again!

I’ll be moving my beer & curry plans to the next evening instead.  :good2:

So Fulham not happy being told they have to play Tottenham two days before...but sh*tty that by the PL

No excuse not to win this it's the break we have been waiting for

What's the betting Parker plays a B-team against Spuds and goes all-out against us?

He will definitely want to get one over on us more than Spurs ....but who ever he plays we have no excuse they have a game midweek we don't

100% agree, but I just think they are more likely to rollover tomorrow than Friday. Call it paranoia.

Well we saw today how a cup win can get a good side over the worst run in PL history with the Blades beating Newcastle.

So let's hope our win inspires us to play at our best.

They have another game a few days later on the Wednesday. With a busy fixture list most clubs will have to rotate their squads. We are one of the teams that has no match this midweek so we need to use that to our advantage

James - Silva - Rudiger - Chilwell

Jorgiho - Kante

Ziyech - Havertz - CHO

Abraham

I know Frank will not field 4-2-3-1, but here's hoping.

He will go:

James - Silva - Zouma - Chilwell

Havertz - Kante - Mount

Ziyech - Werner - Pukisic

I would love to see Giroud and Ziyech starting, I think they've only started 1 game together and that only lasted 20 odd minutes with Ziyech going off injured.
