Liverpool defender Glen Johnson to be quizzed by policeLiverpool and England defender Glen Johnson is set to be quizzed by police after a student claimed he was attacked outside a nightclub in London’s West End.

Rashed Al Muhtadi, 20, claims he was punched repeatedly and a friend of his was spat on. Liverpool right back Johnson was with friends outside the Movida nightclub when the trouble took place at 4am on Sunday.

Al Muhtadi told The Sun: "was left with significant injuries" and made an official complaint to police officers at Paddington Green Station.

Johnson, a major summer signing for Liverpool, is likely to be questioned once police have viewed CTV footage of the incident.

Famously, Glen Johnson was fined £80 in January 2007 for allegedly trying to steal a toilet seat whilst at Portsmouth.

Glen Johnson has played 18 matches for Liverpool in the Premier League and Champions League this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

two goals and two assists? Is that all. After the flying start he had, scousers couldnt shut up about how he was "great business"

18 million for that return, and his well known miscues looks almost as bad as 20m for a midfielder who never plays, or for a striker who gets sold back in the next window

 
What was he doing in West London anyway? Clearly, he's just playing for Liverpool, but his heart is here ;)

 
wasnt glen johnson going to be the final piece in the jigsaw? he hasn't been robbed yet though. once a thief always a thief... from toilet seats to footballers mansions? not even in liverpool!!

 
I know it's promoting arsenal but i like Arshavin as a player and i just find this funny as hell.
