Grand Prix Poker Tour - Stamford Bridge November 28th & 29th 2015

Congratulations Adam and Zola you were both the nearest to the 29,121 crowd figure though I'm not sure Zolas should count as it was in fact his second guess ;-)

 
My first guess was based off their normal home stadia, so you can understand the little bit of confusion.... ;)

But you have to take my first answer! I have won a ridiculously good prize on here before, so please let the next nearest guess take my place.

 
Apologies guys....been a manic day with a 4,000 player poker tournament around the corner.

Will review winners when I get home tonight and post the official winners. Not forgotten about it :)

Got to take the first guess i'm afraid as stated in the OP.

Winners are Adam and Splishsplosh if my maths are corrrect :).

I will PM you both with further details.

Reminder that the tournament is open to everyone over the age of 18. Registration is £70 so pop on down and take a look as we convert the West Stand into a 700 player capacity poker venue and you could win your share of the minimum prize pool of £250,000.

The Attendance was 29,121. Splishsplosh guess was 29,898 ( 777 away) whilst my guess was 28,494 ( 627 away)

I hope my maths is correct lol thank you

If I lived in London I would turn up and pay in for that, would be a great night - if you know how to play poker that is!

Damn it, so that's why I got a C at maths at GCSE all those years ago ;).

Did anyone actually play in this and if so, how did you get on? I play Poker as a hobby to a fairly high level and almost qualified online on Thursday night.

 
Yeah I played made day 2 busted 188th for £280, il spare you the bad beat though lol.

Nice comp, good atmosphere though you might as well have been in a warehouse as at SB as you couldn't see any of the ground/pitch from where we played under the west stand.

Got a free stadium tour out of it though which was OK as its been a few years since I been on one.

 
What happened with the hand? Done on the river?

Not really a bad beat pre AJ v 55 but after flopping the ace he rivered a 2 outer .
