How old were you the last time Spurs won at the Bridge?

I was 33 that year. The first big 'recession' of my working life was starting to kick in. Had taken the family to Florida for a holiday, spent out, back 4 days, company went into 'receivership', and i was made redundant 10 days before Christmas!.

Was 22 for that game. Was in the west stand. Got married in May that year, and missed last game of season away at Millwall!! Kerry scored a hatrick. Was there last night, for another great day.

I was 23. Missed the match as I was spending the season as a ski bum working in Whistler, Canada. Now I'm 48 and living back in Whistler again.

Here's a nice little quiz from yesterday's Mirror about what's happened since they last beat us at home:

My favourite game against them in that time? Has to be the "normal service has resumed" at the Lane. Incredible atmosphere that day, very old school, very intense. Mind you the 4-0 at home a few days later was pretty sweet too:

My favorite was that game at their where G.D sign for them l was in the seat behind the goal what atmosphere l never heard one player get so much stick

Post 23 by Cobham. JFH and EG both brilliant. Costa and Hazard...That you tube clip is a good one.

My age...well past my 20's.

"The sh*t from Tottenham Hotspur went to rome to see the pope,

The sh*t from Tottenham Hotspur went to rome to see the pope

The sh*t from Tottenham Hotspur went to rome to see the pope and this is what he said "f**k Off""

This song came out of the visit by catholic Spurs players to rome to see the pope and he declined to see them. hahaha

in my days the song above lead straight into

"Whose that team we call the Chelsea...."

I reckon the best game in the run was at home in 93/94 when the North Stand had been knocked down and The Shed was nearing it's end. 2 nil down within the opening 20 odd minutes...then we turned it around to 3-2 before half time. Spurs then scored a pen and missed a pen in the second half before Mark Stein won it for Chelsea with a pen of our own.

Everything about that pen was great. The fact it was in front of The Shed, the way it hit the stauntion and bounced out again (I think stauntions deserve their own thread)...and of course thd fact it was a last minute winner against Spurs. Was anyone there that day?

Born in 1989 (who would have guessed from my screenname?) so have no recollection of it!

Now now, be fair, the last time Tottenham beat us home or away was only five years ago... and bless their c**tish little hearts, they released a DVD, so they could enjoy the moment again and again with this official Tottenham Hotspur DVD.

They beat us 1-0. At home. Five years ago. And they're selling the DVD. To mark the occasion.

In all seriousness, how f**king embarrassing is that.

I came across that when I was searching on ebay for Chelsea dvds and cringed on their behalf.  It strikes at a League 2 mentality - "let's celebrate when we won a match against a top side".

As Frank Lampard once said:

"It is always bad to lose to Tottenham because they make DVDs of it for the next 10 years."
