I'm not saying i beleive all the sh*t in the papers, but it would seem that there is tension somewhere in the ranks, and i can see him moving on at the end of the season. If he were to win the CL there is nothing left to prove so might walk, if he doesnt then he might get the chop, but all that aside, IF he went, what players do you think he would take with him, or would want to bail out?

I could imagine him taking, or at least wanting to take, Terry, Lampard and Drogba whereever it is he would go.

 
I can imagine him wanting to take them and I can imagine Lamps going.

JT I think would be staying and although Drogba may be very tempted to go with Jose whoever he went to (say it is Real) would have to pay a huge wedge for him and it may be more then they are prepared to.

Also Carvalho has always been one of Jose's favourites so I could see him wanting to take him.

And if he could I'm sure he would want to take Cech but I couldn't see that happening.

Having said that do you think Jose will be with us until 2010? I know I don't.

 
I do - but then I'm just an old romantic at heart!

And not to mention the coke dealers who would be forced out of business if Fowler went (because he obviously wouldn't be having a fire at home all through the winter

I genuinely believe that Jose loves Chelsea , he's passionate about the club and im sure he would be gutted if he left , or was forced to leave.

Ive never come across a manager who shows so much emotion when we score and get results , and his management of players is one of the best in the world.

I think O'Neal shows as much reaction to goals as Jose.

All though O'Neals reactions are as a result of shock.

I'm afraid it does to me too. There's a touch of the "look at me everybody" about Mourinho.

He loves Chelsea about as much as he loved Porto and will love his next club. It's not a criticisim of him but there is no reason at all for him to feel any emotional attachment to the club - and I doubt he does.

Even when we won the Carling Cup he was overjoyed, jumping around the place, holding 5 fingers in the air. 5 fingers I was thinking. Why is that? Have Chelsea won 5 Carling Cups? Is it 5 months since we last won something? No. He was thinking only of himself. When he started with his David O'Leary chest thumping routine I was wishing we could watch the players celebrate for a change.

 
Equally, when we won the league, he let all the players take centre stage, and phoned his family from the dugout, so he's not exactly all me me me, is he...

I'm with you on this one liam......Well, regarding the fact he sometimes plays up to the cameras when we score or win a game.

But why is there no reason for him to feel an emotional attachment to the club? He has said that English football fans are the best in Europe, so he has the support of all the Chelsea fans, he said he has fallen in love with Chelsea, the fans and English football, we won the league twice in a row against almost everyone's wishes in Europe and the media hate us. All these things would have definitely created an emotional attachment to the club.

i'm not trying to wind anyone up, and there are people who are agreeing with me. I dont doubt he has a strong emotional link with you now, but he definately wants the attention with those celebrations, without doubt.

I think he will leave, personal opinion. i also think him leaving is a bad thing for us, as a new manager will be even better supported in the transfer market, and i seriously rate hiddink who is favourite is most peoples eyes.

My memory is of him throwing his medals into the crowd.

Anyway if he'd wanted to phone his family why not go somewhere that there are no cameras, the changing room for example.

Tim, I just don't like this aspect of him and never did. I can never see any good in this aspect of his personality. When he's in the dugout phoning his family it seems to me he's saying "look at me everybody - phoning my family" I disliked him from the first time I saw him up and down the touchline in Old Trafford. Then his "look at me everybody" staged non-celebration of Porto's Champions League win. Everything he has done since his arrival at Chelsea has cemented my dislike of this side of him.

I don't see that in him Loud and Proud. These are only words. He's a clever man and he knows what he's at. He's been brilliant for Chelsea, there's no doubt about that and he'll be brilliant for Real Madrid when he goes there. And in his first press conference in Madrid he'll repeat how much he loves Chelsea, and how sad he was to leave, and he'll never refer to Chelsea in those terms again.

It's fair enough. It's a job for him and he's loyal to his employers until the next set of employers and fans come along.

 
The bottom line is that Jose is a winner and being entirely honest he has a degree of win at all costs about him. If that involves teaching his team to go down easy or it involves a bit of mind games with other managers or refs then he is prepared to do it. Sometimes it is amusing, sometimes it is annoying and a little lacking in dignity (however no moreso than you can see form the likes of Fergie, Wenger and Benitez - lets face it it is common practice amongst most managers)

When Chelsea win and he celebrates I don't doubt there is a part of him that is celebrating for Chelsea but there is also a part of him that is celebrating for Jose. He may well have established a fondness for Chelsea and for the fans who have chanted his name however I would stop before I would say he has developed a love affair for the club - he hasn't really been with us long enough for that.

Wenger may well be able to claim that as he has been at Arsenal a long time now but I don't think the likes of Jose and Benitez can credibly say the same thing after only a couple of seasons.
