The powers that be are saying a jailbreak wont be out for IOS8 till about early December. This makes Uno sad! I need to jailbreak my iphone 6. I havent even updated to 8.1 because they have put a block on the backdated apps. Which means if you did update you cant run emulators on your iphone which sucks donkey balls!

 
Pangu have jailbroken ios 8 but there are a few bugs in the break and cydia isnt on it just yet. I havent used Pangu before, I have always used evasi0n to jailbreak my phone but they are very quiet on an 8 jailbreak at the moment. Who do you use to jailbreak Mod?

 
Using Pangu for ios7 basically because at that time, they were the first and only ones that done it. Used to use evasi0n prior to that.

 
How did you find Pangu? It seems that they are the only ones really interested in jailbreaking ios8. Evasi0n said they are "bored" of jailbreaking Iphones.

 
I think it's more that they couldn't crack ios7 and pissed that Pangu could.

I find it fine, no different at all. If anything, better than previous jailbreaks with very limited crashes.

There are ios8 tweaks for ios7 on cydia, so more than happy to carry on running it.

Have you jailbroken or went with ios8?

I got the Iphone 6 so had no choice in having ios8. When Pangu update the jailbreak and work out most of the bugs I will jailbreak again. I read this morning that its still early days, there isnt an English version yet and Cydia has only just been updated to ios8 so that is yet to be put on. But the good news is there is some progress. Hopefully in a few weeks it will all be ok.

What are your best tweaks?

 
Apparently Pangu have released the ios8 jailbreak but Cydia still a little way off.

The best tweaks I use are messages customiser where you can change pretty much everything on the iMessage/sms screen. iCleaner where it runs through and deletes a lot of hidden crap, freeing up space (like ccleaner for pc) and iFile to see all files on the device. A lot of cosmetic changes too (ios8 theme, Barrel to change the way the app screens scroll, etc)

I like a lot of the little tweaks, like FBnoneedmessenger cause I only use Facebook for the messenger really and hate their way of closing the messenger on there and making you download their sh*tty privacy exposing thing.

 
Yeah pretty much the same ones as I use to use. I stopped using Barrel, i try to use a little as I can because of battery drain. Activator is pretty useful also!

Retro arch and Youtube to Mp3 are a must for me also!

 
So will youtube to mp3 store the music the usual way, or is it a separate thing like google music app?

 
You can transfer to your music app once you have downloaded the song you want.

 
Its pretty good if a song pops into your head or you hear a song on the radio.

 
I haven't yet mate, I thought for at least my phone I would stay on ios7 with the last Pangu.

I might do my iPad though, if Cydia is now fixed for it?

 
I believe so.

I have never done my ipad. Im not sure why. I guess I havent really felt the need to. Any good tweaks on the ipad?

 
I think the same tweaks, but definitely XBMC gets more advantage on it than a phone.
