if you want a good laugh have a trawl through the arsenal forums, and the bbc 606 forum to see the goonies desperately trying to sound happy with the signing. its hilarious some of the pathetic attempts.

 
Liverpool confirmed the signing of Maxi Rodriguez today.

He will be termed as a 'gamble' due to his age and inexperience in the Premier League but unfortunately, he is a quality player and has linked up with Torres in the past also.

Thoughts?

 
Good player at a good price. Signing him till he's 34 could be a gamble, but he potentially offers something Pool don't have much of.....quality.

 
Rumours are saying that Hiddink might go to Liverpool and Rafa to Juventus.

agree with what you say finaly seems to have got it right........Bugger. Also heard Inter could be sniffing about Gerrad rats and sinking ships

 
apparently citeh bid 38mil (not sure whether that was pounds or euros) for angel di maria (yet another forward) which met his buyout clause but he snubbed them. suprised at how quiet everyone has been so far. Think i read somewhere that all the english clubs combined have only spent 8mil this january

 
Part of me wants to see that happen just to validate that this kid would be an expensive failure in England. He seems to play a big game but has very little body mass and would get knocked around easily.

Robinho mk II in my opinion, waiting to happen.
