Jordan Henderson

Disagree with the majority here.

Thought for the first time this season we looked like we had a midfield with Henderson in it.

Agree. Henderson and Caicedo might just about get us thru to Jan as a league partnership.

He was such a calming presence, that I nodded off and so did the entire team.

I suppose the sound of him clapping back patting and the whoosh of his index finger pointing was not enough to disturb you.

Him wearing our shirt and being on the pitch is enough to profoundly disturb me.

Our only fit midfielder along with Barco.. god save the queen!

And Lavia
And Reggie Watson
And Nicoll-Jazuli

[Zeta]

Good performance.

Guy is class. Best days behind him? Of course. Still has loads to offer, obviously.

[Jezz]

Surpassed my expectations. Great performance capped off with cracking goals.

[2211]

Very good today.

[PhilH930]

Offered stability, balance, leadership and work rate. Hard to ask for more. Be impressed if he can continue this performance level (even without the goals) alongside Caicedo

[Scott Harris]

I can accept him a little bit more as a Chelsea player today.......you'll never catch me calling him Hendo though.

[dkw]

Excellent today in all he did. Brilliant free kick, but i was more happy with him getting at the ref, we haven't had a player do tyat for years.

[Ibby_786]

He was outstanding lovely goals by him.

[axman2526]

I wonder what the Liverpool fans made of him smacking the badge after his second goal.

Communicates with every player, all over the pitch. Always positive ad covers a surprising amount of ground.

I was very vocal about how I couldn't stand this bloke or us signing him. Today was a step towards how I felt about Mark Hughes. Despised the bloke before and after us, but loved him playing for us. Proper leader. This could be reminiscent

Jordan Henderson marked his home debut with a goal inside two minutes.

[All Barco no bite]

2 goals and an assist. Genuine question, did Enzo Fernandez ever do that? Or ever has a game as good as yesterday?

[2211]

One thing that struck me was how genuinely happy his team mates were for him.
It may seem like a small thing but is clearly a likeable person to have around the place.

[OTL]

I don't believe it !

From what I have seen, they have been pretty normal about it for the most part, which is not like them at all.
