Kalou just tweeted

"The journey shall continue wherever the winds blows! Love u all :)"

Looks like he's going - (I resisted using the smiley face here)

Good luck to him

Very sad to hear that Kalou is definitely leaving, he was a very likeable player who never ever stopped running. He never got the credit he deserved (despite actually contributing quite a bit), but I'd imagine he won't easily be forgotten in the wake of his huge role in our Champions League run. I also remember at least two massive goals against Tottenham: the late equaliser in the 3-3 FA Cup game, the 89th minute winner last season, as well as the winner against Benfica in the CL QF. Thanks for everything Salo - best of luck.

Yes good luck!

He's seldom complained and has scored 60-times for us. Good squad player.

He has so many medals with us he'll have to pay lot of extra for his luggage  . Come to Chelsea and you'll win medals...

Agreed, all of the idiots who have been clamouring for him to leave for the past four years, should take a good look at those numbers.

Best of luck to him, he leaves with my best wishes and sincerest thanks.

Sorry but that is stretching it!!!

Kalou was a decent squad player who always tried his best and contributed at times.

But lets not make out he was anything more than that. Sure there were goals and assists but there were just as many horrendous misses and very forgettable games.

Nice bloke - wish him all the best but in Hazard we have someone who is on a different level completely.

He was too hot and cold for me, although hot is a bit of an overstatement, lukewarm. Appreciate what he did at the club and best of luck to him but I'm glad he's gone. I just wish that Malouda would go aswell.

Kalou, has been an average player at best for us, his record of a goal every 4 games is nothing to shout about (I know he's been sub a lot) he also has a very poor footballing brain, and no idea how to use his pace, as proved by the amount of times he is caught offside!

Boswinga, his first season was good, then he got injured and we didn't see him for ages and when he came back he has been woeful! Lots of goals conceded this season can be directly traced back to a mistake by him!

Lets not all fall over ourselves to pretend differently, we're not going to miss either of them!

Thanks boys, enjoy the rest of your careers!

I'll admit that line was a little facetious.

I wonder where Bossy will go. There have been a few stories about Kalou's future but nothing on Bosingwa's. Is he in the Portugal squad? If he is and plays it could be a good shop window for him.

TBH I can't think of any sensible top flight club that would want him!

I can see him ending up in Russia or the USA, if he wants a payday! Otherwise it'll be back to a mid table portugese club!

AVB liked him...
I think AVB has been proved to be absolutely clueless when it comes to defenders!!

This is the man who didn't want to play Gary Cahill, and said it was the clubs signing and not his, yes thats right the same Gary Cahill who was 1 of the best performers in the Champions League final!!

The thing going in his favour is he is a free agent.

His wage demands will be beyond lots of clubs even though he is a free agent!

You also have to factor in how many points he will cost with silly mistakes, and therefor how much he will cost you in money due tto league position!
